Yummmm My favorite dish here, which I nearly always get, is their Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, which has a yummy af cream and is hearty. A bar is connected to this restaurant, which can be fun because you hear and/or see folks playing darts and freaking out over sports games on the TVs in there. Kinda dark setting, which I like. Friendly staff.

Incredible hidden gem in Lincoln Park. I've walked past this place a million times and never noticed it, but stopped in because everywhere else nearby required a reservation on a Saturday. We were seated immediately at one of the high tables, it is a quaint place, with an open kitchen. Bread service comes with garlic butter and unlimited bread, but the bread isn't hot or special at all. All of the pasta looked incredible, it was hard to pick one. Ended up ordering the Capellini Pomodoro and the Farfelle Pollo. Both of the pastas came steaming hot, piled with cheese, it was amazing. One pasta dish here is at least 2 meals. If you are a pasta lover, want something casual, and are interested in lots of options, check out The Pasta Bowl . Their pasta, portions, and prices are unbeatable in Lincoln Park.

Stopped here on a recommendation of a bartender in the area and definitely will go here again.

Don't even think about ordering at this place because If you do, expect to eat a raw, cold, pasta with your bare hands. After I called the restaurant to get it sorted out, I got not only yelled at, but cursed out. No type of restaurant can give us terrible food and expect us to suffer with no consequences to them. And then they yell at us? And to add insult to injury, they accused of being drunk. Never coming back to this place. If I could give 0/5 I would. Terrible service and terrible food

Tasty and fast. I've gone here for 20 years and will remain coming back... That's why they have lasted!!

Went here this past weekend, and I'm happy to say this lived up to the hype. The food was all around fantastic. I got the gnocchi aurora (which was soooo good) and my fiancé got the penne puttanesca (which he also loved). Both of our dishes stayed hot and fresh the entire time we ate, and even when we had leftovers the next day, it was still just as delicious as the night before. The portion sizes are very generous and could easily be split. Plus, they have some great deals on drinks/apps throughout the week that are definitely worth checking out.

best pasta around by far. everything is great. Farfalle, conchigle, gnocchi all smacks. but the bread app is ass has nothing with it lol. the cheesy bread is good but not super worth it lol just get a salad if you want an app

This is the cozy, classic, big portions, no frills neighborhood Italian spot! Finally tried the pasta bowl on a 3 degree snowy night and it was sooo good. We were in a bit of a hurry and the service was excellent and food came out so quick. We split the strawberry, walnut, pear salad as well as the chicken parm. The salad was actually phenomenal - tons of toppings, perfect dressing ratio, and I loved the fresh strawberries and pears. The chicken parm was classic, cozy, and saucy and you can really taste the freshness of the tomato sauce. The portions for both were also huge. I was impressed by the prices for food as well as drinks. Perfect spot for a casual dinner!

The server did not give me all of the change I was owed. When I asked why she said they round up or down and never give exact change. It is illegal to charge more than the advertised price. She did not give me my change back.

The lobster ravioli is phenomenal. It has a lot of sauce that you can dip the bread that is provided into. There is a perfect amount of spinach and sun dried tomatoes where it isn't too overpowering. The inside of the restaurant is very low light and gives off the vibe of a dive bar which is really interesting and unique. However, this was a takeout order so I don't believe a tip should be asked for for a takeout order. The food is great and I would definitely go back.

Great spot! Most of the bartenders are so friendly and fun. Great for having a few at the beginning or end of the night. Always have a good time. Haven't had the food but it looks good too.

I came here before a show and wanted a relatively faster sit-down dinner, by myself. They fit the bill exactly with a high top small table, and got me some wine and pasta quite quickly. The dinner portion was gigantic, enough for two people calorie wise (I ate most of it since I couldn't take it with me). The place was a tight fit sitting across from the busy kitchen where I could feel the heat coming off, a lively dinner that would be fun to recreate another day!

Probably the most cost effective place to eat in this neighborhood. Everything is delicious here. The portions are large. Like for two people or 2-3 meals. I love the meatballs. You can add them to anything but sometimes I get them as a side to use for meals the next day. The staff is really nice The dining area is small so I would call to see if they accommodate larger parties. If you order online, they have a place to keep the warm food instead of just on the counter like some places. Love this place.
