Stopped by The Outpost Mexican Eatery near the Old Post Office and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered the 3-taco combo with al pastor, chorizo, and steak, each taco was packed with flavor and came with a generous amount of meat. The tortillas were soft and fresh, and the green salsa added the perfect kick. Also grabbed a side of elote, which was creamy and perfectly seasoned. All that for about $16. Service was quick and friendly, and the spot had a chill vibe. Definitely a great...
I swung by during their $2 Taco Tuesday and grabbed three tacos—chicken, chorizo, and steak. I also tried their elote street corn, which was a game-changer—fire-roasted corn smothered in lime aioli, Cotija cheese, and chili powder. Total damage was around $12, and I left stuffed. Definitely a go-to for affordable, tasty Mexican eats in the area.
I ordered Take out from here. Got a quesadilla with ground beef, this was perfectly juicy from the beef grease (it wasn’t dripping which sometimes that could be too much), and I love so much there’s a lot of flavor in the beef with onion. I also love they give you a few cups of salsa and sour cream. Elote was delicious, too. Service was nice and quick
