If had 4.5 option I’d choose that but need to round up here. Great location and atmosphere on a nice day, friendly server, and nice cocktails. The bathroom needs attention (door wouldn’t close all the way, and faucet is about to fall off), but otherwise the place has great ambiance. The berry salad was refreshing, but the chicken on top pretty stale. Not perfect, but overall nice and enjoyable.

Celebrated my daughter’s 4th birthday at the Lincoln park zoo and stopped in to beat the heat and enjoy some food. Lucas our server was incredibly kind and professional upon hearing it was my daughters birthday he immediately made preparations to have dessert brought out after our meal which was brought quickly and was as equally outstanding as the service that was provided. Lucas truly went above and beyond and I believe they are incredibly lucky to have him as an employee and when we come back I hope to see him again and hopefully if he is not already he will be in a leadership position. As much as he cared for my family that day is how I can assume he treats all who he meets.

This was an amazing stop on my road trip. Loved my puppies were able to hang with us.

The server changed the tip amount and hesitated to give out our receipt. Unprofessional. Makes people wonder how many times these types of “mistakes” happened to customers.

Eating lunch at the patio every summer has become a yearly tradition for my mom and I. It's a beautiful spot, service is always good, and the food is very good. They change the menu each year slightly it seems, so it's hard to have a favorite item. If you're going to the zoo, make sure to check this spot out.

I have been to Cafe Brauer many times over the years while visiting the Lincoln Park Zoo. It's a great spot to get away from the masses of school and day camp groups. ? First and foremost, the patio is located at the Nature Wildlife Boardwalk on the South Pond, so the view is amazing. We were seated right away and the server was great. We ordered the Summer Berry Salad and Baja Fish Tacos. The service was quick, the food was yummy and the service was super. The cafe has brunch on the weekend and will need to try it out.

It’s nice to sit at patio area. Nice pond and park view!! We shared two different salads and hummus dip. Salad green wasn’t that fresh and just lettuce, no variety of veggies. Don’t expect food too much.

Fries were clearly from an old batch and charged $7 for a soda without refills. Great view though.
