First time there for happy hour and the vibes of this place were so phenomenal. The bartenders and servers were extremely attentive. I really enjoyed myself

The staff here are so knowledgeable, and the drinks delicious. Highly recommend both the cocktails they have on their menu, but also asking them to create something special for you.

We had fun. Lots of different drinks and snacks.

Amazing little spot. Great drinks and even better food. It has a cool, hole-in-the-wall vibe that reminded me of New York.

I’m writing this the morning after because I can’t stop thinking about dinner at The Press Room in West Loop.

The drinks were absolutely delicious, and the secret cocktail of the day was explained so eloquently it made me feel like I was in on something exclusive.

But the star was the food. The skirt steak came out perfectly charred on the outside, juicy and tender inside, with a bright, herby chimichurri that lit it up with flavor. The corn salad was colorful and refreshing, with sweet kernels, crunchy greens, and just the right touch of zest. I asked for a spicy aioli on the side and the kitchen nailed it... creamy, bold, and fiery enough to take every bite up a level.

Just look at the plate: vibrant greens, golden corn, glistening steak, and that rich sauce pooling underneath. It’s the kind of dish you want to stare at before diving in, and then you can’t put your fork down once you start.

The Press Room is elegant without being stuffy, and the service is sharp, thoughtful, and on point. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in Chicago this year.

The drinks were really great but the music is so loud it is impossible to carry on a conversation. Service was also terrible. It wasn’t that crowded but I had to keep flagging down our waiter who was sitting behind the bar to take our order, bring the bill, etc. I was very excited about this spot and left quite disappointed. The food was expensive and not all that good. Sadly won’t return.

A true gem in the city, well balanced and crafted drinks. Manny, Gio and Luigi did an amazing job taking care of us at the bar. The atmosphere and excellent food only add to the experience. Would definitely recommend, the menu does rotate which is refreshing. This place knows what it’s doing!

The establishment boasts a pleasant ambiance and offers quality beverages. However, a significant improvement is needed in the culinary offerings; the current menu fell short of expectations.

I had my birthday party in the private space and it was the best! Luigi made sure we were taken care of, and Gio was great! I didn’t have to worry about a thing. 10/10 would recommend for any event, the space is such a vibe and the drinks were excellent

Pros: Cocktails are good
Cons: 30+ minutes for us to get our drinks. One of our friends had a dirty butter knife fall on his pants when they were bussing another table, no apology given and no napkin available either. Have to pay their 3.5% credit card fee too.

The atmosphere at this winery bar was lively, and the service was excellent. The wine selection was good, though a bit pricey per glass. I was expecting a more intimate, cozy setting with dim lighting and softer music, but the space felt more like a commercial bar—bright lights, many tables, and music that was quite loud, making it hard to have a conversation. If you’re looking for a vibrant and energetic spot, this might be a good fit, but for a more relaxed winery experience, it may not be the best choice.
