Elijah was awesome and support staff was friendly, the food was okay. I would recommend allowing patrons to have access to the lunch menu while it's brunch hours, we felt very limited on the menu selection.

We identified this as an engagement brunch on our reservation which was never recognized by the service staff or hostess at any point. Additionally, my food (chicken + waffles) came out much later than the other 3 people joining us for brunch. I had to ask service staff several times to track it down. Stopped in for lunch at The Publican with two coworkers, and we were all really happy with the food and atmosphere. Between us, we tried the burger, ham sandwich, and fries—all were fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The burger was juicy and satisfying, and the ham sandwich had a great balance of savory and tangy. Fries were crispy and perfect for sharing.
