My daughter, a senior at Gwendolyn Brooks and a regular customer, recently had an experience here that made her feel unwelcome. An older patron confronted her about having outside food, even though there were no posted signs stating that outside food is not allowed. My daughter had also asked the owner directly, who told her it was fine.
