I was in from out of town and really enjoyed just sitting there before it got busy. Had a great talk with Alex and really enjoyed myself during my short day. Thank you for a great experience. Definitely come again when I’m in town

When me and my friend went to rabbit hole, we were greatly impressed with the hospitality Maya brought to the bar. We were unsure on what to get and she threw out a few recommendations and easily whipped them up for us, along with every drink throughout the night. A great night we had and I will be coming again.

If you want to meet the best bartender in Chicago, come here! Maya was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and HILARIOUS. She sets the vibe for the whole bar and makes sure everyone feels taken care of. I will be back just to hang with her! Also the cheese curds are 10/10.

I love this bar. Maya is the best bartender, her humor is quick, but not as quick as her bar tending skills. Long live Maya & the Rabbit Hole

The Rabbit Hole never disappoints. From the moment you walk in, there's an undeniable vibe — welcoming, eclectic, and just the right amount of fun. The staff is a huge part of what makes this place special. Chris brings energy and charm, Ebony always makes sure you're taken care of with a smile, and Colin keeps things smooth and professional behind the bar.

But let’s talk about Maya. Simply put, she’s in a league of her own. Maya isn’t just the best bartender at The Rabbit Hole — she’s the best on Wells Street, hands down. Whether you’re a regular or it’s your first time through the door, she remembers your name, your drink, and somehow still manages to make every guest feel like the most important person in the room. Her cocktails are consistently on point, and her vibe sets the tone for an unforgettable night.

The Rabbit Hole is lucky to have this crew, but Maya? She is the magic behind the bar.

Looks odd from the outside. However was great. Sat at bar they had happy hour specials. Will return there on my next visit to Chicago. Staff was really friendly. Please if you are near ship by day Loretta sent you.

I live in the neighborhood and finally stopped in for happy hour. The chicken sandwich and fries were great. Good happy hour deals. Literally my only criticism is it can be kind of loud inside, but overall it's a great spot.

Chris , Eric , Maya and Ebony honesty make this place feel like home. Their service is excellent. The food is great and their happy hour is the happiest in all of old town. Where else could you get a burger for $6 , McDonald’s? Hell no even they have Mcflation. Not here though , just good vibes and good times. Makes me wonder if I was possibly a rabbit in a past life

I had an incredibly bizarre experience here on Saturday night (05/17). I’ve been multiple times in the past without issue. On Saturday, I walked in with a group when someone turned quickly from the bar and suddenly shoved my shoulder. The room was crowded and I couldn’t immediately see who it was, but then realized it was the door person/bouncer asking for IDs. I apologized and said, ā€œsorry, I didn’t see you, you weren’t at the door.ā€ He became immediately angry, yelling at me that I couldn’t tell him how to do his job and if I was going to have an attitude I could leave. I’m not sure why he was sitting at the bar during a busy Saturday night or why he felt justified in pushing me, completely unprompted. A seriously disappointing experience at a place I usually enjoy.

Bar that feels very much in Old Town. Drinks were okay, divey. It was overly loud, the bar tender misheard our drink order and he got us something we didn't order. Prices were about in line with typical other bars here, 8-15$ based on what you order. Plus side they do have big Jenga, and a little patio. Also shout out to the dope bouncer who played Jenga with my group.
