Holy cow. This place is good. Got it via uber eats and the burger is perfect, the fries are excellent, and they use FRESH jalapeño! Not pickled!!! I got home made cherry cola and a chocolate sundae. The sundae is good, the soda is AMAZING. Little heavy handed on the ice but the flavor is so good. Bonus, the ice they use is the little iceballs like sonic and chick fil a. Will be getting this again.

We came all the way from Orlando, FL, to see if this really is the best place for hamburgers, and it absolutely is! They were incredibly delicious! I’ll definitely be back!

Good burger but not my favorite. Also, wish the onions were grilled which I found out you could do after ordering:( Sauce is good but the pink color made it a little unappetizing.
Onion rings are perfect, but we got like 6 of them in our bag for $8.

I really like these burgers. They are super yummy, expect they are a tad too greasy. I don't know if they are adding extra butter / lard etc, but the bun was soaked in grease. Also I went with my son we ordered 2 cokes, 1 small fry 1 large fry, 1 single patty and 1 double patty, and our total was $49, yikes!!! I want to come back but not for $50.
Easily a top 5 burger in town for me.

Crispiest patties & amazing sauce
We were in the area and stopped by for a quick bite. Wasn't too hungry so I into got the single with cheese. I did add bacon. Very good smash burger.
Onion rings and hand cut fries were excellent as well.

I've had the Region many times and is my suggestion when people are looking for authentic smash burgers. The atmosphere is very laid back and classic counter-service style. The burgers and hotdogs are absolutely fantastic, with lots of varieties on sizing and toppings to suit any palette. Plus, the neighborhood is great for walking around (I'm a resident here), so it's perfect for a quick bite if you're in the area!

If you've never had the pleasure of enjoying a smash burger, you'll probably enjoy it because the cook prepares the meat so well you end up with those charred steak burger ends. However, if you grew up eating smash burgers or if you've had the honor of graduating to Waygu beef smash burgers you'll find that your palete requires a level complex flavor you won't find at the region because the cook is where the magic begins and ends because the burgers are crafted without the balance of salt, fat, acid and heat being considered. Since the burger isn't seasoned, you're relying on the pink special sauce, but it's too sweet to compliment the savory, well cooked beef. The onions weren't fried or raw they were somewhere in the middle like they had been steamed, plus they definitely weren't fresh because it didn't add any flavor at all. In order for my family to enjoy the burgers at all, we had to scrape off the special sauce and apply mustard to balance out the flavor. The fries were fresh cut and crisp, so we enjoyed those, but the onion rings weren't good alone, so I suggest if you order them, swap them out for the onions they put on the burger. You'll find most diners utilizing the outdoor seating option because the indoor dining room is awkward. You can tell this place has seen better days because the aroma of burgers and fries isn't strong enough to cover up the musty odor this building as it cries out for a much needed renovation. The window seats aren't functional because the chair height is too high for the table height, so it doesn't leave room for someone larger than a toodler to put their legs under the table. I really wanted to love this place, especially considering the fact that I hadn't eaten all day, but I walked away, not even liking it. Thankfully, retro on roscoe was in full effect, so getting to enjoy the block party was a nice consultation prize after my tastebuds were let down. Although I can not recommend dining in, if you're looking for an old-fashioned simple burger that you can dress to your liking at home, it's definitely worth a try.

What in the tiniest milkshake hell is this? $8 for the tiniest milkshake not even worth $3!!!! Absolutely disappointed. Such a shame. You need at least a 20 oz milkshake for the price!! C'mon!

The burgers here are great, unique and absolutely fantastic smash burgers done right. The fries are delicious, old school taste and the milkshakes are solid too. Also got the patty melt and that was delicious as well. Will definitely be going back soon.

Must try burger in cozy neighborhood restaurant. Diggity dos is their double cheeseburger, try it with jalapeños if you’re feeling spicy!
