I so badly wanted to leave a great review on this place bc I’m such a fan of Queen Mary. $23 for a dirty martini and a can of Modelo before tip. The dirty wasn’t made right. I think they forgot the gin or vermouth (or both) bc it tasted like straight olive juice. Everyone makes mistakes but $18? 😬 We were having a great conversation then the music got so loud at 9pm we couldn’t talk anymore and had to leave. Small detail shifts and this is a great place for the neighborhood....
Kinda dive-y and weird but that's right up my alley. It was quiet on a Sunday late afternoon. Quirky decor, old timey feel, reasonably priced options. Great alternative music selection playing loud enough to hear it but quiet enough to hold a conversation without yelling. Friendly service!
Drinks and vibe were great! I love the monthly drink for charity idea and this month it was a complex, multi-faceted concoction that I needed at least two of. The bartenders are personable and good at their craft. It's a relaxed vibe, in an area that can be a bit overly self-conscious. You should check it out.
