We enjoyed the fun atmosphere and great food. There is a great selection of alcoholic drinks for all the enjoy. The appetizers and meals were phenomenal. We ended the night enjoying a warm cookie and the brownie sundae. Will definitely recommend The Smith to everyone.

Wonderful staff from hostess to busboy. Really enjoyed the ambiance. It is quiet enough to easily talk with you table, but lively in general. Food and drinks were excellent. A small critique, I thought my pasta portion was a little small, another 10-20% bigger would have been perfect. Would definitely go back and still get the pasta at its current size.

LOUD! This restaurant was VERY LOUD. We had a 7pm reservation on a Monday. The food was ok but nothing that would make me want to visit again. Couple this with a kid smacking on the booth next to me (literally right over my shoulder the entire meal) while the three adults with him did NOTHING to try to remedy the less desirable behavior. Thanks but no thanks. Our waitress was great though.

We arrived early and stopped at the bar for a cocktail and snack. The bartender was fantastic and service was quick. Drinks were well made. We were seated on time and were greeted by our friendly waiter. Asked for a recommendation for my meal and was not disappointed. I got the Salmon dish while my husband got the pork chop. Both dishes were amazing! I highly recommend The Smith!

We had fantastic service and a delicious lunch. So nice to have the windows open while the weather is still good. We had two severe allergies and they were thoughtful and able to manage them well. Steak was perfectly cooked, salads were fresh.

It was out last night in Chicago and our anniversary. The manager , Lindsay took care of us by getting us a nice table and treated us to drinks. The food was just as a good as the service. Will definitely come back to this place the next time we are in Chicago!!

The Smith is a great gem in River North. Has a great prohibition vibe, great service, great drinks, and the blue cheese chips are a must! Their happy hour is one of the bests in the city!
