Great service and food. Had the filet..cooked to perfection. Bar was pretty busy at 5pm Tuesday and restaurant seating was practically empty. By 6:30 restaurant was packed. I did have a 5:30 reservation since I was w a client. Very loud atmosphere . Hard to have a conversation across table but wasn't an end all. Overall I'd go back. Very nice staff and service. $320 for 2 including several mixed drinks, appetizer and 2 filets for entrees. About what I expected.
Overall good experience and I'd come back. They had a nice lil birthday card for my mom .. I'm glad they saw the note on my reservation. I understand the location and ambiance is priced into the food. My main complaint is that my $6.5 latte was room temperature and not even full (we had brunch). Other than that, food was good and I'd try the smith for dinner next time.
Beware the service here. I ordered a dirty martini and was given something that was akin to a gimlet with olives. The server TOLD ME that it was a dirty martini. I know what a dirty martini is and it was lemony. The server also held the payment device the entire time we were closing out as well as too close. Leave it at the table and let us pay.
