Catered our wedding this September. The entire Tamale Spaceship team is amazing. From the tasting through the reception, we had such great communication with the staff. Our guests loved the food and drinks so much. Highly recommend!

The Tamale Spaceship recently catered my wedding and they were absolutely fantastic! From the very start they were so easy to communicate with. It was so fun having the food truck at our wedding, our guests really enjoyed it. Their food is amazing! Our guests were raving about the tacos, tamales, and elote! Their service staff and bartenders were top notch! All in all, such a wonderful experience working with Manny and his team. Can’t thank them enough for making the day run so smoothly and keeping our guests so happy!

We had The Tamale Spaceship cater our recent block/graduation party, and they were absolutely out of this world! From start to finish, they took care of everything — tables, linens, bar service, and of course their amazing food truck serving incredible tamales and tacos. Every detail was handled with professionalism and a friendly attitude, making the whole process stress-free for us. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, and the presentation was top-notch. They were a pleasure to work with, and I truly can’t say enough great things about them. Highly recommend for any event — they’ll make it unforgettable!

The Tamale Spaceship catered my wedding this weekend and they did such an amazing job. It was easy to order & pay. The delivery was excellent, we were short on space to keep the food warm and they helped us organize to get the most out of the space. They went above and beyond. I have not had one complaint about the food at all. Everyone continued to tell me how great the food was and continues to tell me the food was amazing. I cant thank them enough for what an amazing job they did, they helped make my wedding day less stressful and food was phenomenal. Thank you The Tamale Spaceship. We will be ordering again and I will be telling people about the experience I had with you. 10 stars if I could.

The best decision we made on our wedding night was having them cater dinner! All our guests had a blast ordering from the truck. Including the Picturesque tamales on any menu is a must - a big hit with the family who are still talking about how delicious they were. (Also recommend the Queso y Rajas tacos and Elote!) But most importantly, Manny and the staff were wonderfully kind and beyond helpful. Our wedding was outside and soon it became clear it would be a cold night, and Manny moved quickly to secure heat lamps at the last minute. The Tamale Spaceship provides great good and spectacular service, truly being everything you want from a caterer!

Tamale Spaceship absolutely knocked it out of the park with their food, drinks, and service for our wedding. It was clear they put immense care and attention into our day. Also as someone who grew up eating Hispanic food, I can honestly say their dishes were some of the best I’ve ever had. And my mom, who has been cooking for decades and is famously critical of other people’s cooking, could not stop raving about the food. Latina mom stamp of approval. Their food was authentic and flavorful, and their service was personal and heartfelt. They even left us a handwritten card to congratulate us. So thoughtful they went above and beyond!!! They were the food truck at the Royal Palms. I had the chicken tamale and it was delicious! Would definitely recommend any time!

We used Tamale Spaceship to cater our wedding and we were thrilled with them. The food was fantastic and got rave reviews from all our guests. Some of the best tamales I've ever had, to be honest, and I'm still craving the sopes de platano. Even more so, Jazmin and her team really went above and beyond to help with set up and take down and keep everything running smoothly. We could not be happier with them.

Tamale Spaceship catered my husband I's wedding. The guests absolutely raved about the food. Tamale Spaceship also handled our bar and desserts. The bar was fantastic. All of the drinks were made with high quality ingredients, and none of them felt watered down or weak. We had several guests with dietary restrictions, and Manny accommodated all of them with no issues. It was such a relief to book just one company to handle dinner, the bar, and dessert. Highly recommend!

Tamale Spaceship was our wedding caterer after being recommended by our venue, Firehouse Chicago. We initially chose Tamale Spaceship because my husband and I love mexican food and we knew it would accommodate most diets. What we did not expect was quality food that exceeded our expectations and came at a cost that really helped make wedding planning easy.

Manny and his team prepared some incredible food including tacos, tamales, guacamole, and more that blew our guests away. Multiple guests told us how amazing our menu was and said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Dinner was served out of their food truck which our guests loved and helped create an unforgettable dining experience for our loved ones.

In addition to serving apps and dinner, we also had Tamale Spaceship provide a dessert table full of churros, flan, and chocolate tamales in lieu of cake. They also bartended for us the whole night and provided margaritas and palomas that were flowing the whole night. How many weddings can say they served margaritas to their guests?

We cannot recommend Tamale Spaceship enough to be your wedding caterer and bartender and are looking forward to the next date the food truck will be nearby so we can grab lunch.

My spouse and I were able to book Manny and his amazing team to cater our wedding. He was so warm, friendly and patient with us throughout the entire planning process. Every single item on the menu was top notch, beautifully vibrant, incredibly flavorful and filling! Be sure to add the delicious margaritas, too! Guests were raving about the food for the rest of the night and I cant thank the team enough for helping to make it such a memorable experience.

Manny and the Tamale Spaceship team are incredible. We first reached out to Manny before moving to the state, and he worked around our hectic schedules to coordinate a tasting. Once we tried the food, there was no question about who we wanted to cater the wedding. Every single dish had phenomenal multi-dimensional flavor, was made with quality ingredients and with attention to detail. Throughout the process, Manny and his team were responsive to our requests, but what really blew us away was the day of the wedding.

The quality of the catered food was some of the best that I have seen: appetizers were beautifully plated, tortillas were never soggy, and tamales had a perfect amount of filling. The Tamale Spaceship team was attentive to every aspect of our reception, from helping with the table flip to their perfectly timed check-ins with us at our sweetheart table. Furthermore, countless wedding guests complimented the food and stated it was the best food they have had at a wedding. We cannot speak highly enough of this team and would recommend them (catering or the Spaceship itself) for any event!

Hired for o it wedding and the guest LOVED the food. The vegans were happy and everyone loved all the tacos. They were great and responded to all 40 of my emails in a timely manner and did not get annoyed. Thank you - highly recommended!!
