The Unforgettable Bar

I had unfortunately had a bad and very unforgettable experience here other week at this bar. I was treated very poorly.. by the older blonde bartender.. from the Google reviews it seems to be a pattern for people that look like me to be treated in this manner. I would was a regularly and would go after work but after being treated so poorly I definitely will take my business elsewhere. I genuinely hope someone puts a bar in the area to compete with this one.. I wouldn't recommend for those that look like me. have a blessed day everyone and stay safe!

Great dive bar and atmosphere. I was visiting Chicago from New York/the Big Apple and, the people here seemed very friendly and welcoming, something you don't find as much in NYC. I got invited back for Karaoke later in the night and left my credit card so it looks like the universe wanted me to go. Highly recommend and definitely unforgettable!

This is the type of bar family and friends have gone for years , its very chill and so far everyone in there had been very respectful . On Friday the 20th I was heading to the restroom and my boyfriend was behind me as he usually waits for me by the door when using the restroom for safety purposes when security PAUL snatched my boyfriends drink off him and yell it was closing time and didn't allow him to finish it . If it was closing time then why were the bartenders still serving drinks ? there was still several people at the bar area and according to another security at the door , they were finishing their drinks . SO WERE WE ! when we explained he was confused on why PAUL had snatched it from us . Security is there to protect the area not create problems . PAUL should be fired or at least a warning , we could've depute the bill since we didn't get to finish our drinks but we didn't because its not fair for the place to lose money over someone who doesn't know how to do their job .

Bruh!!! Bruh!!! This new bartender Stacy is awesome! Along with Jen they made this fire White Russian which imma call my caramel Russian! Stacy and Jen rock! Drop in and say hello on Tuesday and Saturdays they are awesome and they are really creative! Oh and Sundays with Jen are really awesome on football Sundays! Sports are always on and the music is decent too!!

Sadly, I moved away from Chicago but the first place I go every time I come back is to the Unforgetable bar. It’s like cheers but in Chicago everybody knows your name and everybody has a blast. I’ve never been to a bar where everybody dances and things and has such a good time all day and all night it’s the best and the bartenders especially the daytime bartenders are awesome.

Probably one of the worst bars in Chicago. The security was rude, I saw people doing coke in the restroom. I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Horrible service the African-American girl bartender was caught stealing tips from the bar and is going off telling people that she owns the place when I’ve been going there for 15 years plus and I know the owner is Erica horrible service bad attitude telling people if you don’t buy a drink, they have to leave the facility Other people complain and also security guards. I’ve been trying to get a hold of Erica when I called but nobody picks up but I will be coming in and speaking to her directly cause she’s dragging that bar that I loved so much down and I’m not standing for it. Also, was required to tip her for playing pool. The crazy part is that she’s no supervisor or manager and the owner doesn’t even know this is going on, but I will be coming in soon.
