GET THE DRIPIN “BIRRIA” TACOS!!!!!! As someone who has been eating plant based for a min, I have been looking for plant based birria for a while and I’ve finally found it! I have been to MANY plant based restaurants in the city and Vegan Traphouse is THE BEST!!!

First off, I am a certified carnivore. I always said you’d have a better chance of Godzilla rising out of Lake Michigan than me going Vegan. An acquaintance of mine opened a Vegan Fast Food restaurant. I want to support my people but the Vegan part held me back. One day I decided to just take the leap and try it out.
I ordered the 10 Piece Fried Hard with Mild Sauce, which are 12 sliced mushrooms fried with fries. I first tried the mushrooms without sauce and ended up eating all of it without the sauce. First off, it resembles fried fish and the taste is not that far off from real fish. The fish and fries are seasoned with lemon pepper and that gives it a tangy taste.
In all, I enjoyed my meal and I will be definitely be back.

WHEN i TELL YOU... I was born and raised in this community. There has NEVER been a vegan restaurant in the hood. So it was a wonderful surprise to fly in and have my best friend take me to get a meal!

IYKYK . . . Lemon pepper fried hard! Come on now!!! It was good to my soul! The crunch, the mild sauce. All it needs is the coleslaw and slice of white bread at the bottom.
I need that fresh squeezed lemonade in gallon form!

I’ve ordered once through Uber Eats and the food is SO GOOD. I will be ordering again—and that’s saying something because I do NOT have Uber Eats money like that! The oyster mushroom sandwich was crispy and saucy despite being delivery and it def hit the spot. The fries are an added bonus and don’t even need ketchup because the seasoning is delicious and not too salty.

I am so proud of the owners! I support as often as I can, but it's always soooo salty. It was very difficult to actually taste the Caribbean jerk burger because it was really salty and a little spicy on top of that. I couldn't eat it. Had to toss it. The vegab Philly's are salty as well. Just reduce the sodium by a lot and it would be delicious.
The burger was nothing like the pic nor description... barely had lettuce, chopped tomatoes, no onions and there weren't any fries with the order... Not worth $15!!!

Had vegan traphouse tonight for the first time and I will definitely be back!!!! I got a cheeseburger and give it to a meatlover and I bet they wouldn’t know it’s a meatless unless you tell them. I also got the lemonade I’m very happy to have had a great 1st experience!
