Wow what a phenomenal cocktail bar. The interior is beautiful and the lighting is perfect (nice and dim). I can't remember the bartenders name but they were lovely, super attentive and knowledgeable without taking themselves too seriously. The classic cocktails I had (a vesper and manhattan) were crafted perfectly.
Definitely going to be a place I recommend to others and frequent more regularly.

Came in on Sunday at 5:45, love the look of the place, small cocktail bar with brick walls, nice but simple. 7 people in the place. Asked to sit at the NEARLY EMPTY bar and was told to sit at the end in front of the bar station, no room. Why? Only 20 seats and we want to keep folks tight. BS! Only 3 people at the bar! Rude bartender who wants open seats for possible folks sucks. You’ll have two more forever as we won’t return. Good luck.

Extremely rude. Would not talk to our party of 4 in an adult way and “refused to serve us and excused us to leave”, after we were already sitting. As someone that’s been here before and live in the neighborhood, I’ll never return. Worst experience at any bar in all of Chicago after living here for 20 years. Go somewhere else!

Had a fantastic experience at Victor Bar not only are the cocktails, but the staffs went above and beyond in helping me out. I had accidentally left behind some personal items, and the bartender who worked June 09 who should I get his name 🥺HE incredibly kind and responsive in making sure everything was safely returned to me.
Highly recommend for both the quality and the hospitality. Will definitely be BACK!
It is a small cute place. Only drinks No food right next to the main street. Chill place to grab few drinks.

The emphasis is cocktails and the mixologists do just that and with perfection. Small and cozy…no standing and Chris will let you know that. The cocktails are awesome and everything you would expect. Truly impressive and not my neighborhood, but if I’m in the hood and the timing is right…I’ll get a seat at the bar. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere here is fantastic—vibrant and inviting. The bartenders were not only friendly but also gave excellent recommendations, which we really appreciated. While the drinks are on the pricier side, it’s in line with what you’d expect at a nicer cocktail bar. And trust me, they’re worth every penny—absolutely delicious!
