Went to the VIG on a recent Saturday nite for a surprise birthday party/dinner. From the moment we arrived we were treated like guests which is always a nice feeling. This place is LOUD…..,the service was terrific and wasn’t expecting much food wise but shocked how good the food was. Fabulous spot to eat in Old Town! The Vig burger lives up to the hype. Tasty and satisfying. The Homer Greek and Honey Daniels salads are delicious. The Greek salad has a lot of dressing but I liked it a lot. The chimichurri steak is ok. My husband enjoyed his chicken Parmesan sandwich a lot. Uhm. What did I just eat??? I miss Chicago for reasons like the moment I had this evening. What a special place. From the service, the delicious food and the bomb desserts, you have to come here.
