This is such an amazing and unassuming cocktail lounge. It did take us a few minutes to find it, BUT the discrete facade adds to the overall experience. It was definitely worth the extra few minutes. Once we arrived we were greeted by an amazing hostess and doorkeeper, both extremely welcoming. The lounge itself is the perfect mix of subtle elegance. It definitely feels like a luxury experience as you make your way to your table. Our server was extremely attentive, and knowledgeable. The menu has an incredible assortment of strong cocktails, most of which are a twist on the classics. Some, though, are definitely experimental, and although I wanted to try them, as a first time I decided to play it safe. The atmosphere is perfect, with low lighting, elegant decor, and an overall chill clientele. The drinks are definitely a little pricier than your average bar, but it's worth it. The drinks are stronger so you don't have to worry about watered down cocktails. They are well worth the price. If you are looking for a romantic or overall elegant setting that won't completely break the bank, I would highly suggest going here!

It gets busy on a Saturday night so DEFINITELY book a reservation like a week in advance or you'll face an hour wait to get in. Menu is ever changing so always something new.

Unlike many cocktail bars in Chicago, where the drink comes alongside a show, the drinks here stand on their own every. single. time. There’s no pretense and no pomp and circumstance, just a damn good drink in some beautiful stemware. Just let the staff guide your journey…oh and don’t sleep on the food. They burger and fries are a perfect pairing for tipping back a few more classics.
