Quite the gem in Logan Square! Have seen DJs and Jazz performed here and each experience was absolutely lovely despite the contrast of the crowd. No food here but the quality of service and drinks totally make up for that.
The sound system is also great! Especially for live acts on weekdays with a more intimate vibe. One of my favorite spots in the city for music and chill non pretentious vibes. Did I mention, there's usually no cover here?? Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot with good music and drinks.

Ventilation and tweaking layout would help some, and clean bathrooms. As a regular who usually spends the whole evening here I’m totally over feeling like an annoyance, and being able to smell the bathroom from the bar over my $16 cocktail, ugh (or is it $17 now). Produce an itemized bill when asked.

I’m sick that I even have to put 1 star at all. If you are looking for a fun night out with the girls to decompress from working full time and family member’s home-going ceremonies back to back then this IS NOT the place for you!!!!! Bartender was extremely rude and unwelcoming, claiming for us to be too drunk and even threw my girl drink away when we had not been in the building for more than 10 minutes,it was barley touched!! After uncomfortable confrontation going back and forth with this rude adult of course she proceeded to LOOK DUMB AND APOLOGIZE WHILE REPLACING THE 3/4 FULL DRINK. Ok, so we decide to move away from the bar clearly someone is having a bad night at work. On the dance floor we are dancing our stressful lives away when ANOTHER WORKER tried to remove my girl from the floor for being too drunk by the way she was dancing???? So if you wanna sit in a corner, not dance, not laugh and joke out with the girls, or you wanna be a stick in the mud then yes by all means this is the place for you.
All in all NEGATIVE 10 OUT OF 10. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ?. I guess we were the wrong color for their liking??♀️.

They kicked me out because I wasn’t being social. I was at the Whistler to be with my friends and I was forced out when I wasn’t getting up on stage and putting on a performance. Very good jazz on Wednesdays but I am thoroughly disappointed in my treatment as a sober person on a Saturday evening. My words could be harsher but I’ll leave it at the fact I was disrespected and treated as lesser because I did not want to drink.

For all my edgy, and chill adults this is the place to be! Great music, outside patio area for the smokers lol, drinks are on point as well. My girlfriend put me on to this place and when I walked in for the first time, I instantly said this is the place for me. I can’t wait to come back!
