Rude bartender with long hair misheard me, messed up my check and then had the audacity to accuse me of lying about what i ordered. He eventually refunded me but continued to argue and accuse me as he did so. It was an honest mistake but he turned it into a big deal and made me feel unwelcome.

If you’re looking for a fun night out this is the place! Great drinks and the DJ they booked knew exactly what to play to get everybody dancing. It has a great patio out back, a nice sized dance floor and the drinks were just what I needed to destress from a long work week. If you’re nearby I definitely recommend you stopping by to catch the vibes.

Every Logan Square local will tell you about this place, it is a staple of the neighborhood that has DJs, jazz, literature readings, so many things. The bartenders are very kind and the drinks they make are great. Love the Whistler.

Bartender favors those who spend more so anticipate bad service if it's your first time and look young. Waited in line with friends around midnight just for the bartender Jay to let randoms in before us despite us waiting. Then coming into the bar, waiting to order drinks just to meet the same bartender to not take our order. Service was very rude as he took someone else's order first who just stepped up to the counter before ours even though we were patiently waiting prior. I know you make tips and all but that's not the way to do it and this being my first experience here I don't think I'd come back or recommend to other people. Place itself is also really small so expect a crowded environment.
