One of the best kept pizza and beer garden secrets in Chicago!

New ownership apparently since September, with great changes already made to staffing, cleanliness and the overall friendliness and feel of the environment. I spoke with the bar manager, Sarah, who was friendly and easy to talk with, and it sounds like there are a lot of exciting changes still coming, with bingo, trivia and live music being a few paired with continued hiring efforts which are underway.

Having just moved to Jefferson Park, we look forward to frequenting The Windsor and watching this place grow! Love that we are within walking distance to such an awesome neighborhood bar.

Wishing the new owner and team all the best at bringing back this classic Chicago pub and grill for the neighborhood and guests to enjoy.

Great neighborhood gem they have here. Don’t forget to try the pizza it’s better than most around the area. John is awesome and Adam is one of a kind. Great customer service!

Friendly staff, great service and food. Place was clean and cozy. Played cornhole and watched soccer in the beer garden after we ate. Beer gardens are self serve which was no biggie for our group. Bartender was super friendly and still came and checked on us when time allowed, they were busy with a full bar. Will be back for food and the good vibes!

We were waiting for service for a half hour and no one came to assist are table for some reason everybody was being served . We didn’t get a chance to try their menu and it wasn’t that busy

Wrong Windsor, I'm sure this place is good too

I was here for a private party 5/3/25 and it was excellent.... service, atmosphere and food were Top Tier, no watered down drinks here. I normally get a pizza with toppings,was sharing a pizza with a friend who likes only cheese....and it was still tasty and Lott's-o-cheese and sauce. Owner and his staff made the whole event a success, Thank You!!

Food was good but not worth enduring the awful service. Told the waitress/bartender that we would be sitting on the patio and we would be served. Walked by several tables next to us on the patio and serviced them but didn’t even take our order for at least 10-15 minutes. We put in food and drink orders at the same time and were our appetizer before our drinks because the server completely forgot about them. Wanting to leave, we asked for our check and a to go box upon getting our meal we were sharing. It took about another 10-15 minutes for us to get the check and to go box, which during that time the server serviced the several tables surrounding us. Would not go back again but for the sake of this business I hope this isn’t their typical quality of service.
