Stopped in at Windsor Tavern & Grill in Jefferson Park. Great neighborhood bar with a relaxed vibe and one of the best tavern-style pizzas in Chicago. The pizza was delicious—very flavorful with a great sauce, and the crust was really spot on.
We ordered the wings, which came in a generous portion and had just the right amount of spice. Started with the spinach and artichoke dip served with homemade tortilla chips, a perfect way to kick things off.
Solid selection of craft beers plus a nicely made Old Fashioned. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, which always makes the experience even better. Overall, a great visit. I can’t wait to go back, try more of the menu, and enjoy more of that pizza.

Stopped in on Sunday night after driving by many times. Friendly staff, great tavern food and a solid beer list. Please tly surprised to see Delirium on draft here.

While the food at this restaurant was very good, the service completely ruined the experience. The bartender, Sarah, was extremely unprofessional and provided genuinely awful service. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and careless, and it was clear she had no interest in customer satisfaction. We felt ignored and unwelcome throughout our visit. Good food alone cannot make up for such poor and unprofessional behavior. Because of the service, I would not recommend this place.

I am a fan of this place. Great neighborhood tavern. Pizza is particularly good but everything on their menu is solid. Best of all they've got a great rotating tap selection, with some delicious Belgian beers available. Apparently Duvel will be available on draft soon. Time will tell but I am a big fan of the place.

A friend of ours was in a bodybuilding competition, and our group of 7-8 was looking for casual food near the event. This place was close by and had good reviews.
We sat in the beer garden, which easily accommodated our large group. It was casual, quiet, and well-lit. We had two servers wait on us during our visit, and both were friendly. Sorry, I can't recall her name, she had longer brown hair. She was great. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great visit. Charged our phones, asked if we had a preference on what was on the TV, took a group photo for us, and made time to learn what brought us in and more about the competition.
We didn't feel rushed and felt welcome to relax after our meal was done. Definitely not a place that seems to push you out the door as soon as you finish your last bite. Very casual and welcoming environment.
We decided to do a round of shots after our tab was paid, as we were walking out. She got us our shots and new bill promptly and gave our friend a genuine best wishes in their contest as we left. This place set the tone for an excellent day for our group.
If we return to the area, we will definitely stop by for food and drinks again. We all ordered something different, and everyone enjoyed their meals.

We stopped in before a bodybuilding competition that my daughter was competing in at the Copernicus Center and were so glad we did. The pizza was fantastic—crispy, tavern-style, with great sauce and full of flavor. The atmosphere had that perfect mix of local charm and energy, with great music supplied by the bartender (classic rock fans will feel right at home), plenty of TVs for sports, and dart boards for some friendly competition.
What really stood out was the bartender, Sarah. She was warm, engaging, and knew her craft inside and out. Her cocktail knowledge—especially when it comes to old fashioneds—was impressive, and she offered thoughtful recommendations on the pizza that hit the spot. She made sure everyone at our table was taken care of and enjoying themselves from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a comfortable neighborhood tavern with great classic drinks, outstanding service, and a killer tavern pizza, this place is it. We will be back!

I moved in to the area and decided to check this bar out for the first time last night, and overall the food was good and the atmosphere was great. However, my experience was ruined by the bartender, Sarah. She was rude, unwelcoming, and had a terrible attitude. I dreaded having to order drinks from her and ended up trying to get help from the other bartender instead, who was much friendlier and professional.
It wasn’t just me, Sarah was also rude to my friends, which made us so uncomfortable that we decided to leave and go to another bar. I’d consider coming back because the place itself was nice, but if Sarah is working, I’d probably turn right around and leave.

Stopped here on Wednesday right at time the bar opened. Waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Drinks reasonably priced and tavern style pizza was GOOD!! Tortilla chips were homemade and very good as well! Vibe was comfortable and casual. Bar lighting was on darker side which I preferred, but back heated room was very well lit for those that prefer brightness. Would recommend.

If I wanted to instill trust in new ownership, I would make sure that the prices on the electronic board aligned with what is in the POS system. And I also not make the customer feel crazy for calling it out and would not minimize the issue by saying “ it’s only $2”. Additionally, service needs improvement.
The pizza is great here and it’s close to my house. I often run into neighbors, which is a big plus.
The intent of my review is meant as educational for the owners, and not a bashing. I want it to succeed.
