Ordered on Uber eats. Nice that you get free egg rolls but overall very mediocre. Would not recommend the pad Thai and the Pad See Ew was decent. Probably won’t order here again.
Used to be good for what it was--$12 would get you cheap Chinese food. Now it's $16 for an entre. No way is a meal from TAR worth ~$20 (after tax).
My wife and I got food poisoning from the sweet and sour chicken, will never eat here again.
Just ok if you’re craving Chinese food. Orange chicken had a very thick, fried batter so it wasn’t my favorite.
Despite their location, prices are just like any pan-Asian restaurant in the city. I like their basil chicken, very flavorful and filling. Standard portion size. Their smoothies are also a nice treat. Made with fresh fruit and cost less than other places in the area. Never had an issue with staff either. Always friendly, quick, and given me the correct order.

Find somewhere—anywhere—else. Get Panda Express. Heck, get McDonalds.Where do I start on this disaster? I think the good needs a mention: the order was correct and warm on delivery. But hold on to your mein vein, that's the end of the positives. We got Mongolian beef, beef & broccoli, potstickers, and chicken fried rice (with pineapple, so judge as you will). Potstickers: how do you make a flavorless dumpling? And why do they think a sweet and sweet and sweet and sour sauce is the right thing for that? Mongolian beef: I didn't think we ordered fish. "Fried" rice: we ordered food after a long day so we didn't have to cook; see pictures. They think jalapenos mix well in Chinese cuisine. Neither sesame oil nor soy sauce nor a pan even touched this (until I had to fry it myself). Beef and broccoli: somehow the tastiest part of the lot, taste being a big reach. The best part of it was how flavorless it was compared to the rest. Please, please save your money. Go spend it literally anywhere else. I love having leftovers when I order Chinese but I love throwing this in the dumpster more.
Love their Mango Chicken Fried Rice, it's very unique and delicious. Their Coconut smoothies are really good and refreshing.
Never order the chow mein is awful. There were no noodles only croutons.
Disgusting food,.. horrible,... also how do they have 4.1 stars, when there are soooo many 1 star reviews. Another interesting point to note,.. almost every 5 star review is written in the same cadence with the same tone, and all of these are written by people who have only written 1 review. Yelp would automatically throw them out, and this restaurant would be at 2 stars. im offended with how disgusting and inedible the food was. I ordered chow fun and got chicken and broccoli,.. that would have been fine with me, except the chicken was disgusting and inedible i thought i could eat the fried noodles, but they were burnt and also inedible. Im contacting google to see how they enjoy 4.1 stars,... cause this place is a @#$@#hole.

food was bland, kimchi was white, vegetable dish was oily and stingy with the hot sauce. one time and last time dining here.
I’ve only had take out from here, so can’t speak for dining in, but LOVE this place. Incredible smoothies. Perfect tapioca, some of the best tapioca out there as well as other great toppings. I get lychee in particular- highly recommend the lychee smoothies personally. As far as food goes I’ve only had vegetable fried rice, but very much enjoyed the fried rice and thought it was great. Highly recommend!!
The chow menu is literally store bought chunky noodles from bag. This is was such a disappointment, I walked back and returned the whole order. It's amazing how this place has survived...it's not worth your money. Worse than the other person who complained about the noodles. Can only imagine what other food could come out of this place. Don't do it. I never write reviews, but man don't do this place.
We ordered two noodle dishes. All the noodles were stuck together and it didn’t sit well. I wouldn’t order from here again.
Courteous and always accurate phone ordering. This is my go to takeout spot in wicker/bucktown. The amount of food is always exceptional and it's prepared fresh and piping hot. Free item when we spend I think 30?? Been here many a time and would recommend
