We just had the breakfast brunch buffet at the Third Star Restaurant at the Hyatt Regency McCormick. Katrina, Rudy, and all at the restaurant made us feel like welcomed guests. It was truly refreshing service ✨
I generally not a buffet person, but the buffet brunch that Katrina and the others provided was beautiful and freshly made.
The selection of fresh prepped fruit 🍓🍋🟩🫐, cheeses 🧀 and charcuterie, lox with capers, a selection of bread🍞🥐, bagels🥯, and other items to be toasted, cooked oats, and from the hot selection there were fresh eggs, pancakes 🥞, roasted potatoes, bacon, sausage and more.
ALSO, they made us fresh omelettes to order, served hot, as well as fresh espresso drinks, included, and unlimited ☕☕✨
Did I mention how much we enjoyed this breakfast! I'm a vegetarian and I'm allergic to alliums and my husband eats almost everything. We were able to get exactly what we wanted without anyone making a fuss or having to explain why I can't have the fresh potatoes because they have onions mixed in, like other buffets.
Thank you, Katrina and all at the Third Star ✨

Our server was rude and kept hoovering over us, which he should've just told us to leave because the kitchen was closing. Food was fine. Sadly, their service absolutely terrible.

Decent hotel bar, reasonably priced drinks and a fairly expansive food menu. Wouldn’t take cash.
Great service, very prompt at 7am. Food was very good and reasonably priced for the area and market. I was in and out in 30 minutes. Good way to start the day.

The place was swamped but they still had excellent service. Make sure to get the truffle fries.

Had the kale and potato gnocchi. It would have tasted good but it was literally DRENCHED in oil. The gnocchi was not made of potatoes as described. It was flour. The ambiance, atmosphere, and service was great.
Food was ok at best. I had an omelette with “breakfast potatoes”. Potatoes made me the angriest because they were really just smashed fingerlings with some onions tossed on top afterwards

Genuinely the worst eating experience I have had. Forced to order food when just wanted to chill with friends, yet my other friends didn’t have to without eating. We all ordered diet pepsi yet she came back with only one… I am still waiting on my diet pepsi. Took multiple times of asking to receive water. Only split checks 4 ways maximum????? Food is mid but I was already super full so I couldn’t give my best effort to reviewing.

Fast and easy, self seating. Kind of hectic but not terrible. Noodles were okay, not amazing

Terrible experience. Got there I guess a bit late for breakfast and was buffet only which was fine except there was little food available and was not fresh. We were seated and that was the last we saw of a server. Had to wait and ask 2x for coffee (and water). Did drop off our bill and disappeared. $62 for 2 for poor food and service. PASS.

The Google Page says open 24 hours but this location is not open outside of Breakfast hours of 6:30am to 10:00 am.
And Brunch Hours possibly at 11:30am to 2:00pm.
The Restaurant should probably placed that it's a Breakfast joint to avoid confusion. Thank you. ?

They had a breakfast buffet on the day we were there (Sunday morning), but we decided to order off of the a la carte menu. The omlettes were good, and the hashbrowns were nice and crispy. Toast was included. Would
