it definitely isn't the Thomas's of 1974. it was very antiquated And the windows and doors needed cleaning. The food was pretty good. And the service was excellent. I believe it has new ownership and it's definitely better than a couple of years ago.
I have only been to this restaurant once. From the outside it looks like its barely hanging on. It needs some sprucing on the outside. The interior though is classic and traditional. It has an interior that Bronzeville's Pearls Place could really use and space that Valois in Hyde Park really needs. I can also recall how good the pancakes were. I can't say much about anything else. It's been a while. My hope is that they could clean up and modernize the outside....
First, I'd like to thank the server again who turned the air down when she noticed I was cold. It waa freezing in there. Delicious breakfast made fresh. Reasonably priced. You get a lot of food for the price and I appreciate that a lot. Great atmosphere. Nice ole skool music playing in the background. 🎶
Thanks.
