Fun dive bar with a patio, but they never clean. If you come here, be sure to only drink out of bottles.

Good old basic Irish pub along Milwaukee Avenue. It's one of a few pretty divey looking places that are on the Northwest side. Three Counties has a pretty strong Irish theme. Not gimmicky like a lot of these kinds of bars but one with actual Irish owners. Of course it's also pretty cool hearing the Irish accents and not just people pretending or whatever. Authentic Irish is a pretty good description of it. It's not a too crazy place except St. Patrick's Day of course, probably because this is mostly people from the neighborhood. This isn't known among tourists or even most people in Chicago it seems. It makes it much less crowded. This is a small bar, so any crowd will make it seem crowded though. It's $5 for Guinness. They give you a big glass, lots of the Irish stuff. Has lots of authentic Irish booze. It's just lacking in the food. They have bags of chips and those kinds of things.

Just as I remembered the place.

This place scams the crap out of you. Charged me $32 for a Guinness, Black and Tan, and Miller 64. Couldn't do anything about it because there aren't prices listed anywhere. Maybe they thought they could get away with double charging me because it was St Patty's Day. Go to Vaughn's instead. Better service, great food, and they list the prices for their drinks so you won't get screwed over.

Neighborhood dive bar. Nobody asked for our vaccination proof when we walked in and nobody was wearing a mask in there except the bartender. I was very uncomfortable and couldn't wait to leave.

Nice place! Neighborhood Irish pub! They have Old Style and pour a good Guinness as well! Friendly patrons and good bartenders that can handle busy hours. Did not have to wait for beers.

This place is no doubt one of the most pleasant place in the neighborhood. Whenever I visit this place I am awfully satisfied. They maintain their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they give. You no doubt will love this restaurant. Warmly recommended.
