Three dots and a dash is an upscale tiki bar with all the things you would expect from such. elaborate pseudo-tropical drinks, an intentionally tacky atmosphere with hula, island, and seagoing iconography. The drinks were very good if a little overpriced, not extremely overpriced as with many other cocktail bars, but definitely by a dollar or two per drink. I got two drinks and while they were both very very good, for their most potent drinks (denoted as such with two skulls on the menu) I was not a stumbling mess upon leaving. I do have to give it up for the service, we waited maybe ten or fifteen minutes for our first round and our server (I forgot her name I’m very sorry) apologized and brought us a free drink (which was also delicious). When you come here expect to spend about $18 per drink and to wait a bit for the drink to be served. Tiki drinks are always complicated and time consuming to make so if there’s even a couple other orders in front of yours it’ll take some time. Be patient it will be worth it.
Dietary restrictions: I have a peanut and tree nut allergy and the server was very receptive and without me asking took a sample back because it contained nuts, she did provide a replacement sample which was extremely thoughtful.

We made reservations for the bamboo room, this was a very unique place with amazing crafted drinks and great atmosphere. Our bartender Matt was very nice and made us great recommendations. Highly recommend coming to this place as a date night!
Tje bartender was so rude. My timeleft group had left and it was only 11 pm. So i decided to chill and make new friends. I approached a group of girls, qas just about to introduce myself and he cut me off by saying "leave these girls alone" I don't understand what made him attack me in that way. I had 3 Martinis and during he was so nice and chill. Was it the 20% tip? Like I left right after he said that. I have been coming to this hidden gem in the alley for about 5 years. I normally don't leave reviews but I had to.
