I am a very picky eater when it becomes about take out, I can honestly say this place is really good. The chicken and a rice is amazing, I don’t eat cabbage because of my stomach, but the wife loved it! Also the yammms uffff delicious 🔥 definitely recommend it!!! Will definitely be ordering again with good portions.

First time here, I ordered a whole chicken dinner...why they butcher the damn chicken??? This definitely don't look like a whole chicken $29🤔🤔 cabbage wasn't seasoned, red beans and rice(Popeyes taste better) I don't even want to try the yams🙄🙄🙄!!! The chicken was good as far as the seasoning it looked like it was jerked but it wasn't ..DAMN IM SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! I won't be returning. Don't say on your menu that your the best on the west side...SMDH

The inside could definitely use a facelift. The food was eatable but not what was expected. Where is cheese in the Mac& cheese tasted like a box dinner. Red beans and rice dry. Cabbage was okay and the oxtail mediocre just okay. Definitely not worth the $$$

if I could give it negative stars, I would this place was terrible. The mac & cheese had butter and salt and pepper. That’s it. The food was spilling. It just looks so nasty and gross. It look like they made the stuff upstairs and brought it now I didn’t even peep how the location looked before ordering. I just saw them on Uber Eats. I’m so mad please don’t go here.

As someone born and raised in Jamaica, I walked in with cautious optimism. I wanted to support, to taste something that reminded me of home. Instead, I left disappointed, frustrated—and honestly, embarrassed.
The jerk chicken was dry and painfully bland, completely lacking the bold flavor, heat, and smokiness that true jerk is known for. The rice and peas—or rather, “red beans and rice,” as they call it—was flavorless and uninspired. That alone should’ve been my cue to leave. But I chose to give them a chance. Big mistake.
The cabbage had a strange, sour taste as if it had been sitting out too long. The oxtail? Fatty, greasy, and without seasoning. And don’t get me started on the curry chicken—it tasted like something thrown together as an afterthought. No depth, no flavor, and no care.
What hurts the most is that I spent over $350 here, hoping to feed my family a hearty, flavorful Jamaican meal. What we got felt more like reheated leftovers—or worse, something unfit to be served.
This experience wasn’t just bad—it was insulting to Jamaican cuisine. Our food is bold, rich, and made with love. This? This was lifeless, soulless, and flat-out disrespectful to the culture.
If you’re searching for real Jamaican food, do yourself a favor—keep looking. This place isn’t it.

It was just okay. It was my first time ordering here and the oxtail dinner was $25.00 but it was really bland. I was a little skeptical about the food when I walked in and didn’t smell anything but smoke. No flavor no seasoning the meat was really tender and falling off the bone but the taste was nothing special nothing to keep me coming back. There may be better options in the city. Great customer service from the young lady who took my order.
Vegetarian options: They have a veggie plate it’s is all sides for 10.00 not a bad price and they give big portions.
