Three Sons Pancake House is the perfect spot for a relaxed Sunday morning breakfast but make sure to come early because this place fills up fast! The atmosphere is simple and cozy, exactly what you want for a laid-back start to your day. Having been here a few times, I decided to keep my order straightforward, but the experience was anything but ordinary.
I started with their chicken soup, and it was absolutely out of this world. Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, it set the perfect tone for the meal. Every spoonful was like a warm hug in a bowl so comforting and satisfying that I was tempted to order a second serving. But then, my main dish arrived, and everything changed.
The French toast, oh my goodness, it was on another level! When the plate hit the table, I could see the golden-brown slices, perfectly toasted with a slight glisten from the custard. They were thick, with a soft, pillowy inside, and just the right amount of crispness around the edges. The outside had a beautiful golden crust, providing a satisfying contrast to the light, fluffy interior.
As I took my first bite, I was immediately hit with warm, comforting flavors. The bread had soaked up the custard just right, making it rich and indulgent without becoming soggy. Each bite was buttery and soft, with hints of vanilla that elevated the sweetness. This place a a perfect stop for breakfast near midway. If I arrive in Chicago early, I plan my morning around a breakfast stop here. Plentiful portions and great service. Omlettes are huge, in my opinion. The Italian omlette is wonderful with beef tomatoe sauce added. Haven't had lunch here, but I can't imagine it's any less substantial than breakfast.
Parking: Mix of on street and lot parking. Even when the lot is full there seems to be space.

I use to enjoy this place. Now it's been nothing but unpleasant. Today I went in with my toddler. I was sat and waited 5 minutes for a server to come greet me. The bus boy brought me water before the server noticed me. She even waited on the table sat after us. I was ready to walk out when she cam over to use and asked if we were ready. No hi how's it going etc. She never came back to check how the food tasted or if I needed a refill. She was how ever very bus with a gentleman talking about a dryer and the things they found when they opened it. I use to work in the service industry and know this is unprofessional. I come here before it's local but I might have to find a new place. Just wish I would have saw the owner to let him know.

This restaurant has been around well over my 45years of life and I hope they continue to grow and stay a family owned and operated business. This is Greek American owned Family business that feels more like your in their home's kitchen. The staff are quick to greet you with a smiles and a Good Morning,noon or Evening,and their menu is filled with amazing dishes from Breakfast omelets to Belgian Waffles with fresh fruit and extra ? strawberries with whipcream and sauce for me a side oh hash Browns extra crispy with a side of ? bacon makes my Saturday or sometimes Sunday morning brunch complete. Dinners are amazing to with variety of steals salads chicken dishes to choose from. My mother and now my age group really enjoy this neighborhood restaurant. If you choose to indulge in any of their delicious food options then I highly recommend giving this business your coin and time. They treat you very well from the time you enter with a Hope to see you soon exit, they truly appreciate their customer's support and experience.
