i love toons. I discovered it about a week and a half ago. I am a transplant so I was literally waiting for four hours to check in my air bnb.
Aj is my favorite(they all are great) bartender here. Very sweet. Personable. Attentive.
The food is delicious. I wish there were a few more varieties in offerings but what they do offer I have not been disappointed in.
The regulars are so kind. I enjoy meeting and chatting with them and sharing a drink with them. Very welcoming place. My favorite lunch spot now

Toons Bar & Grill is hands-down one of the best neighborhood spots in Chicago! The atmosphere is always fun and welcoming — whether you’re there for a game, trivia night, or just great food and drinks with friends. The staff is friendly, fast, and they always make you feel like a regular. The wings are legendary and the beer selection never disappoints.
It’s the kind of place where everyone seems to know each other, the music’s always good, and you can actually relax. Five stars all around — Toons is a true Lakeview gem!

We heard from a few locals that these were the best wings so we had to give it a try.
I can't say they were the best but they were very good. The wings were fried just right, they weren't small and the buffalo sauce was on point.

Great service. We came in fairly late and they still gave us a warning of when food service was over and made us some appetizers. Great spot.
