So delicious, omg. I know Bayless has an astounding reputation as a chef, especially in Chicago. It was quite an honor to try food inspired by his cooking. I highly recommend. I don't know If I'll be back due to the high prices, but the Milanesa Torta was highly enjoyable. I'm on a tight budget, but I had to splurge. The churros could have been better, but the refreshing mango agua fresca made it all worth it.
Always great food that is prepared with care. Love their salads especially the crispy chicken peanut salad.
The food was so good.
1 star becouse the employee wont give you a napkin if you didn’t ordered anything from them !!!
Tortazo has tasty food, but they are expensive. One person for lunch is $20+. They do not even refill ice tea when dining in. Want another drink you have to wait in line with other customers again and pay for it. They never revisit a table after the food is dropped off.
They get busy, but they don't seem to get as much traffic as they once did. They reduced the portion size of their food and increased pricing a couple of months ago. I use to go there 1-2 times a week. Now I may go once or twice a month. It is hard to justify the high prices for lunch when there are so many other food options in the area. Not saying I don't recommend them. The food is unique and good. Just pointing out there are other places in and around the building that are as good or better for less $$.
You can’t go wrong with Tortazo—delicious food, outstanding service, and the best churros in Chicago!
Carne asada is super tender and delicious. Habanero salsa is extra spicy which I love.
It’s pretty good if you want a quick lunch!

Fantastic food in a casual atmosphere. One comes here for the food. The employees and the manager were also exceptionally nice and competent.

Food is a little pricey…consider increasing the size of the guac that comes with the chips

Located on the 1st floor food court, inside Willis Tower (formally the Sears Tower) on S. Wacker Dr. and W. Jackson Blvd.
This is a counter-serve eatery inspired by Mexican food from Chef Rick Bayless. You can either order at the kiosk or with the cashier and find an open table.
We were on a 'Foodie Tour', and this was a stop for dessert. We had their 'Almost Naked Churro', which is a fried dough pastry covered with cinnamon and sugar. It tasted pretty good, almost as good as the churros I've had in Mexico. Service was friendly and efficient.
I would like to return and try other menu items.
