Went here for Valentines Day 2026, the evening spent here was almost perfect. Our waiter, Florentine was amazing, and the food was great.
What ruined the experience was receiving the final bill. I paid $80 for the reservation through Tock. On the confirmation page it’s states “your deposit secures your booking and will be applied to your final bill”. The $80 was not deducted from the bill. I spoke to manager, and was told it will be refunded back to me. That’s not what’s listed on the confirmation page. It is very misleading, and it’s falsely represents the overall experience I was hoping for.
So a heads up to patrons who come here, what you pay as a deposit will not be deducted from your final bill as promised.

We purchased valet parking through SpotHero. Because of the construction on the State Street bridge, it was already confusing to navigate, and when you pull into the cluster of restaurants there is zero clear signage for where the valet stand actually is. After not seeing anyone, I went inside to ask for help. Someone kindly came out and showed me where to stand. When the valet arrived, he immediately chastised me for going inside, saying “How dare you go in? The valet stand is right there,” which it absolutely was not. He aggressively asked where we were eating and told me I didn’t need to “bother his boss.” We weren’t even planning on eating here , we were just using valet but after that interaction, I definitely never will. Completely rude and unnecessary.

My Chilean sea bass was awesome!! The table bread with cheese and butter divine. The dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives were very tasty. My friends steak unfortunately underwhelming full of fat.

While my partner stepped away from the table, management came over and walked me through different options for how and where I could propose. That meant more than I can explain — it made the moment feel supported and truly unforgettable.
I’m incredibly grateful to all of you for helping make this happen, and for playing my partner’s favorite song at just the right time. She absolutely loved it.

It was a fun spot but I have a serious allergy and our waiter did not take it very seriously and somehow served me the allergy, causing GI issues for a week. He repeatedly kept saying “gluten right?” when the allergy was not gluten and I kept reminding him it was Soy.

Came here last year for Derrick Rose flower give away pop up event and meet & greet. Definitely a super solid location, man we had the line all backed down kinzie & around the corner. There was thousands and thousands of people stood in line, I was out here at 6am still had to wait for hours before I got in. It was a great time for the city showing up And showing the support for a local legend! Hope to see another event similar to this one, I thought the location was dope & it’s in a perfect spot to get people in & out while still having capacity to hold a crowd. Thanks Again Derrick! You know the city got your back 💯

Whilst the food did not impress, our fantastic server, Katherine, made my birthday ! We wanted an elevated experience with a clubby vibe and Tortoise Club provided!! Martini in a Waterford cut Crystal style glass! Cozy red booth tucked into bar area on a riser, Katherine was well versed in the clients and knew what we needed and when.. place was bumping at 530 on Sat.. make a reservation! Great small music ensemble played at back of bar area! It’s restaurant week in Chicago so some menus are limited! Check this place out.. thank you for making my birthday special
Came here to celebrate my 4 year anniversary and ended up getting engaged! Our server, Jackson, was absolutely sweet and wonderful the whole night. He checked up on us the perfect amount - not too little, not too much - and he was knowledgeable about the menu. He had a great wine recommendation and truly made our night special. Another server sang to us after the engagement and it was so, so special. Food and drink were incredible of course.

Hosted my 25th anniversary here in the lounge and Red Room. It could not have been any better. It was better than I imagined. The party planner and staff were so accommodating and everything went off without a hitch. Whatever I needed they immediately got on it. The Red Room is such a vibe in itself. You do not need to do much to the room to make it your own. Food was wonderful, cozy fireplace, candle lit lighting really set the mood for a perfect winter time event. The guest enjoyed everything and several people said they would be interested in hosting here as well. You will not regret hosting an event or having a nice date night dinner at this establishment. So very pleased! Thank you for a great evening!

This area nearby houses the corn cob condos and Legal Seafood w water views, they have live music on Friday and Saturday. Parking is only on the street and valet $16 up to 3 hours. We tried the expresso which was good. The cherry pie w ice cream was not good but the ice cream was good…and helped the taste. The crust was good and very thick for those who like thick crusts. But the part I did not like at all was the artificially colored and gelatin like filling along w the whole sweetened and preserved cherries. It was gooey and tasteless and the texture was weird. The really nice and romantic and the lady is nice and dark for your date especially on Valentine’s Day..
