My daughter just got married in the city last weekend. Phillip and the Tri-Star Catering team were absolutely amazing !! The food was outstanding, presentation, set up, service and staff was superb. The entire team has a commitment to excellence and attention to detail that exceeds most. This is the third wedding we have hosted in 4 years and Phillip exceeded all of our expectations. Honestly, everything was perfect and SO beautifully done. I highly recommend them for ANY event.

My experience with Tri-Star Catering was a good one. The food was spectacular! my guests are still raving about it. The bar service was good and the bartenders did their best to fulfill our drink request.
Aside from some small communication issues on both our ends, this was an ultimately a good experience. I would definitely use them again.

Tri-Star catered my wedding and I have nothing but good things to say.It was a quaint affair of 45 people. There wasn't really a "theme;" however, my husband and I are huge whiskey fans so that was a core element of the wedding. When I started working with Tri-Star, I expressed that to the head chef and he designed a custom menu that would help to compliment whiskey. How cool, right?Everyone at Tri-Star catering was responsive, kind, and professional. Philip reached out a few days before to coordinate the ideal drop-off strategy. On wedding day, they showed up right on time and set up the buffet beautifully.Now the important part: how did it taste? We had a lot of foodies at our wedding, so I was delighted when several of them praised the food. It was hot, flavorful, and there was plenty of it. Steak, chicken, mashed potatoes, rice, stir-fried vegetables, and bourbon brussel sprouts were the perfect nosh for a perfect day.Huge, huge thank you to everyone at Tri-Star for being a part of our perfect day. I'd use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone planning an event.

tri star catered an event for our 45 person staff on 5/4 and I can't say enough good things about the food! we had an eclectic breakfast; cold and hot cereals, toppings galore, CHEESE (i ate half the block), hard boiled eggs, and more! then the lunch.......... holy! we ordered fajitas and they were a HIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the fajita steak will forever be something I dream about eating.

I cannot recommend Tri-Star Catering enough! I was slightly hesitant to book with them for my wedding due to the lack of reviews but I'm so happy we did. When I started getting quotes from the typical wedding catering companies I was literally shocked at how much money they wanted. And believe me - I love to spend money on nice food.Then I talked to Phillip at Tri-Star and he was so reasonable and willing to work with us. He accommodated the (many) changes that I had to the menu and was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. He also didn't try to upsell us or push us to add unnecessary things to the menu.The food itself was great. Everyone LOVED the lyonnaise potatoes and all of the mini desserts. The service was also impeccable.Another big plus is that they offer BYOB so you can go and buy your alcohol from Costco and then have his team serve it with their liquor license.
