Not much to say. The Queen and I stopped in here to get a quick snack before heading to our next spot. Smoothies were ok, but for the price, clocking in at almost $10, nothing to write home about. The Queen also got a Chicken Chorizo'dilla (chicken chorizo, roasted pineapple salsa, queso blanco, cheddar & smoked cheese blend in a pressed flour tortilla with a side of roasted tomato salsa). She said it was ok for a quick bite if you are looking for something to eat.

Just went in here to buy a smoothie for myself and was met with nastiest attitude by a short female employee with blonde hair. I was deciding what I wanted when she aggressively tapped the blender at me as if she was annoyed, ruined my experience and I left. Will not be going to this location again.

very rude staff and undercooked food then had an attitude towards us then continued to argue with us while on the clock and told us we could meet her outside after her shift, didn't get her name but she was blonde with highlights and terribly caked on mascara. WILL NOT be coming back!

Absolute love coming to Tropical. Usually stop here on Fridays for a cool treat to kick off the weekend. And it never disappoints !! The service is so good and all the workers are super nice. if you’re a smoothie person, this is the spot for you !

The place it’s very nice but the service it’s really bad , I ordered a chicken quesadillas for my wife and the food comes with extra spicy chiles insideAnd when I asked about this situation because I never ordered with spicyThey just told me with really bad aptitudeThis food it’s Mexican and you know Mexican food it’s all spicy , and that was the only solution I received for this problem.Never coming back in this place again

I like their j*** chicken wrap turned into a salad, a request you can make for any wrap. It has good pineapple and red onion salsa. The serving sizes of toppings on the salad — like the salsa, black beans, and chicken — are quite small. The proportion of lettuce to other ingredients is a little heavy on the lettuce for a sufficient meal and given the price.

Due to health issues, getting enough daily calories is an issue. I am tolerant of the 20%+ of excess smoothie they throw away each time, but today it was about a 50/50 split. My chia banana boost (with PB and pea protein) should be 920 calories. This time it was mostly just ice, while half of my calories were flushed down the sink. To add, the actual smoothie was about 3 ounces short with a pyramid of ice on top under the lid. I was the only customer in the store at the time, so it was not "accidental."TROPICAL SMOOTHIE CAFE: It is fraud to sell things with half their reported calorie values, the smoothie maker was well aware that there was too much ice, and could barely get what she made into the cup. At $11.00 for the smoothie, I am paying for a nutritional meal, I expect the proper nutritional values. This happened on 9/10/23 at 7PM.
The workers are so generous and efficient! And the smoothie tasted amazing!

Love tropical smoothie but this one is off. Went in there on Friday around 2pm on 8/24 and I asked if they made açaí bowls and they said no. However the really sweet girl behind the counter said they could make a smoothie in a bowl. Then things took a turn.The only man working there that day took it upon himself to cute up fruit and throw it in a bowl and the girl said to him “your supposed to blend it”. He said no and threw cut up fruit in a bowl that my child was not looking for and ultimately ended up not eating. My 4yo asked if they could make a smoothie bowl they said yes and then a very rude man decided to just do his own thing and not give my daughter what they said they could make and payed for.Then spent more money to get a salad without any offer of making what was agreed upon purchase.She didn’t want cut up fruit that she just had at home for breakfast.To top it all off they were blasting hardcore rap music (Gucci Mani) in the middle of the restaurant. Listening to rap when I’m out or away from my young kids is one thing but in the middle of a restaurant is not really ok, don’t want to hear a song about drugs, violence and women while trying to eat with my kids.

These smoothies are like sex on the beach - f**king close to water. They are the la croix of smoothies - mostly just crushed ice with the tiniest whisper of a hint of fruit flavor. It tastes similar to what I think it would taste like if you filled a blender with ice and then dropped one blueberry in and blended it. If you want to pay $9 for essentially ice, be my guest. Two stars and not one because there was fast service (store was empty I wonder why) and because it's not repulsive, how could it be? It's just ice.

I LOVE tropical smoothie cafe. I came in fifteen minutes before close so excited to order my usual wrap and smoothie pair. I wasn’t prepared to have two people ahead of me to order when I came in. It wasn’t even ten til when I had a chance to order and was denied food because they wouldn’t have time, might I add that I was their last guest. I said no problem, and order my smoothie anyway. I was STARVING but being in the service industry, I politely proceeded with my order. Having no idea that the two people ahead of me also had ordered food and were served. Everyone was out with their orders and they were able to lock their doors five til. I am so disappointed in the service of this place.
