The food takes to long for how bad it is here , I don’t know if the lady that works at the Register is the owner but she has a bad attitude

This place is another gem hidden in plain sight.
One of the BEST sandwich I have had in a long time, and we'll worth a trip from home (outside of the city) just to satisfy the craving.
Guadalupe and everyone on site were kind, attentive and just contagiously joyful. I will certainly be coming back as soon as I can!

After a stressful day at the hospital and missing dinner, getting up early dropping kiddo off, cleaning mom apt because she is in rehab. I needed a perfect place to relax, give myself a moment.
Tropi cuba is the perfect place to relieve stress and have a quiet moment. Starting with a warm welcoming from the owner, Millie. The family environment, people coming in and out, she knows them by name and favorite foods. A great smile from Millie, customers conversing and laughing, soothing music surrounding your sensations that transport you to a place of family and companionship.
I sip my cafe con Leche and guavaba pastry..I ordered to much but my soul appreciated it. The prices are $10-20 with daily specials. Come for the food, stay for the relaxation and enjoy a café con Leche. Empanadas, tostones, and special meal for soup and half a sandwich for $12.95..perfect for leftovers overs.

I must say this restaurant is very authentic. And my place to go for cuban food. The carne con papa para chuparse los dedos. The pastelitos are good, big and tasty. My favorite cafe con leche is one of the best I've had.... not even Miami cafe is as good as Tropicuba. The manager Lupe is great and waitor Luis. Very friendly and good vibes. Thats very important to me. Not just the food but presentation. Honest atmosphere. Unlike other cuban spots I've been too. I give it 5 stars. Try them out you won't regret it.

-My husband and I have eaten Cuban food in authentic Miami. TropiCuba in Chicago is just as authentic and delicious as anything I've eaten in Miami. I absolutely love it. The red beans were off the chart. The pork was crunchy outside tender inside amazing, I can't tell you how fantastic the food was. The owner was absolutely amazing, she's so sweet and welcoming the atmosphere is welcoming I love this place. Thank you so much!

Wow , so glad this restaurant relocated from Logan square to Hermosa ! Tried the Steak jibarito , plantain was fresh meat tender and the special garlic sauce added to the extra tastyness of the sandwich , my wife tried the Pollo Tropicuba , it's rotisserie and the. Flash fried , gosh the exterior of the chicken was crispy but the inside meat was tender and juicy full of flavor , this Is my new favorite Cuban destination for authentic home cooked food try them out !!

We visited this place today and had the most amazing culinary experience. The staff was kind and so accommodating. We arrived at 5pm and they had complimentary mojitos and mimosas, we didn't partake, but it was a nice touch. The food was exceptional. I had the half chicken with congri and yuca with an extra side of black beans. My husband had a jibarito. Both plates were absolutely delicious. They have a creamy garlic sauce that is absolutely delightful. So much so that we had to bring it home. Overall the chicken was perfectly fried. Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waitress was even nice enough to give us a side of the sauce to take home. If you have a moment to stop by and enjoy an amazing culinary experience be sure to stop by.
