I would say one of the worst experiences ever. We had a reservation on Feb 14. And arrived 10 min early to make sure we are seated on time. When we arrived there was huge line at the door. We walked in and teyies to check woth the hostess. They were overwhelmed and kept saying you need to wait everyone here had reservations. They were not able to seat anyone. We waites another 20 min. Then the restorant manager step out and informes everyone that they have over 200 reservations and they now able to seat anyone now. There were other couples were saying they are waiting more than 1 hr and still not seated. The manager said if uounwalking out pla camcel upur reservation so they are not negatively impacted. We had to walk out and find something last minute. But definitely very poor management of reservation and communication. And we were hearing they were running out of menu items. Would not recommend one a special day even with reservations.

So disappointed. All our food was burnt. Service was poor. Waiter did not know the menu well and did not pay attention. Appetizer came out after the entree. Worst tofu scramble I have ever had and I’ve been vegan for 30 years so that should warn you. This place has really gone down. I will not return here or any of the other locations. They also have decreased the amount of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free items. This no longer is on my list of healthy restaurant options and I will deter all my patients and friends from coming here.

The food was good.
Hummus was the best one among what we had. The spicy sauce on the top took the dish to another level.
Loved the vegan burger as well.

We ordered this Margarita Pizza and it was delicious. Best pizza we had, in a long time. If you are in Chicago, you must try True Foods.

Five stars for True Food Chicago! The food was absolutely delicious, but the service really stole the show. The manager was so nice, I was waiting outside with my daughter and he was so welcoming, he invited us to seat in meanwhile they open their kitchen again, and the service are so kind and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Highly recommend if you want great vibes and healthy, tasty food!

True food kitchen is one of my favorite brunch places in Chicago. I ordered the banana Foster chia seed pudding for starters and the blueberry pancakes for my entree. The tulsi tea was delicious too. If you like pancakes and enjoy a healthier taste without skimping on flavor, the pancakes are a must try. Our waiter was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu items. The ambiance was quiet and pleasant for a Saturday afternoon in the city.

Clean, whole food restaurant. Their seasonal menu was delicious. I got the butternut squash sourdough pizza and it was amazing. Our server was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back.

It was great! Love the vibe. The menu is extensive and offered lots of choices for our group of very diverse eaters! And our server was really terrific! He really took care of us. I'm definitely going back!

Incredible from start to finish; if you're looking for healthy, look no further.

True Food Kitchen absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and left me feeling energized instead of weighed down which is something that's not always easy to find when eating out. You can truly taste the quality and intention behind every dish.

I do want to note that there are quite a few menu items that include tree nuts. I have a tree nut allergy, and while that initially gave me pause, the staff handled it extremely well. They were knowledgeable, accommodating, and made sure I felt comfortable and safe with my selections. I had no issues at all and never felt limited in my choices.

If you're someone who prioritizes healthy eating but still wants food that actually tastes amazing, this place is a must. Great atmosphere, thoughtful service, and food that delivers on both flavor and wellness. I'll definitely be back.
