Tumans is a great spot, nestled in the heart of the Ukrainian Village, at all times of day. The food is fresh and delicious and the service is top notch. Personally, I do not think there is a food establishment that the servers and bartenders seem like great friends, both with each other and with patrons. The atmosphere is heartwarming!The whole crew- Joe, Sarah, Michelle , Mario, etc, never cease to really care about those they serve. Sarah is so efficient, prompt, and gets every detail down to a science. She is the epitome of a great server and her passion for making everyone feel special does not go unnoticed. Tumans is such a special place!

I am a weekly patron and I have been for years. Tuman’s hits the trifecta – food, environment, and the team. Truly the best team in the business - Sarah, Alex, Asher, Michelle, Morgan, Bridgette, Brea, etc…. and the kitchen team! Consistently great service, warm and charming – even when it’s busy and the clientele is demanding. Sarah can manage a busy night like no other – remembers my drink order, greets my dog, manages orders and delivers it all with Sarah-style charisma! Hail to the brunch crew – they make me smile and it’s not just because of the great mimosas and the extra extra crispy fries.

Tuman’s has always been my friends go-to spot for years. On top of the food, the service is what makes Tuman’s a true third space. Whenever Sarah is on shift, I know my group would be taken care of, she always goes above and beyond to make sure we are good. Shout out to Michelle and Joe who add to the great service and atmosphere! Tumans wouldn’t be what it is without those 3!!

This is hands down my favorite spot in the city. Since moving to the Chicago area from New York six years ago, I have spent many an afternoon, night, morning, and night-that-turns-into-morning at Tumans. It's more than just a bar, it's my Cheers. It's the place where everyone knows your name, because the people care. It's not just that the drinks are great and the food delicious, but the staff is the best. I wouldn't have all the great memories from Tumans if it weren't for these special people...Joe, Sarah, Michelle, Alex, Asher, Morgan, Brea, and others. Shout out to them for always making me feel welcomed, happy, and keeping me fed (special shout out to Sarah for always checking to make sure I have my snack before kitchen closes). Love this place & can't wait to be back this weekend, as always!

Tuman's is hands down one of my favorite spots in the city. Not only do they have incredible food and drinks, but they also have a top notch staff, ones that welcome you with open arms (and full pints of beer) anytime you walk in. It's a place where I've had many meaningful celebrations with friends and family because of the staff - Joe, Michelle, Sarah, etc. As far as dining and drinking goes, I don't even need to look through a menu before Sarah recommends something that she thinks I'll like (which most times I do). This place would not be what it is without her and the rest of the team!

The best neighborhood bar out there! We have been coming to Tuman’s for years and have gotten to know some of the staff so well. That’s actually a big reason why we come - we love seeing Joe, Michelle, Mario, Anthony, Sarah, and everyone else there! They make it feel like home. Sarah was one of our first friends we made at Tuman’s and always makes us feel at home. She is such a gem and truly makes Tuman’s that much more special! We are always so excited to see her and everyone else there! Also, the food is really good!

I have been coming here almost weekly for a couple years now. Favorite neighborhood spot by far! Sarah is the best and we always request to sit in her section, she is so warm and always remembers our usual orders. She is half the reason we come here! we love sarah <3
Vegetarian options: they have a great veggie burger, and the largest portion of grilled broccoli in chicago (sometime i get this and a pretzel for dinner and its plenty)
Dietary restrictions: they always accommodate substitutions when possible.
