Local bar. There was not a single tourist, and it was difficult to receive proper service unless you were a regular customer.

Small but cozy. Had an early morning retirement party. Jenna, our bar keep, was great and bloody Mary's were good.

Fun neighborhood joint. Better food than your average pub, and lots of beers on tap. The proprietor, Tom, is a great host and the staff are really great. Perfect place to watch a game.

Great service. Great atmosphere. When I went they were out of malort which is the only reason they will not get a 5 star.

My group(all family!), we were from our of town on vacation and happened upon this gem of a bar and grill by asking customer service at Shedd Aquarium! It was maybe 10 mins by car... from the minute you walk in you feel very welcome, Carrie, our server, mentioned she has been there for 14 yrs and it showed! She knew all the patrons, treated our group like family ! She made us feel special ! She even gave my grand daughter a T shirt with "Turtles" on it so we will remember to eat there again next time we are in Chicago! The food now, well the hamburgers were awesome, I recommend them! Salads were fresh and giid! Try the pulled pork, that was really good!! Personally I can bet, anything on the menu is great what! And when you go, I hope Carrie is working , you will seriously return!! What a way to end our trip , good food and fantastic service!Parking: Street parking only that I could see, but it's a neighborhood bar and grille and it's a stone's throw away from the White Sox field!! Very cool !!Kid-friendliness: It is a bar and grill but we had 2 kids under 10 yrs old with our group and wonderful server, Carrie allowed us to put tables together so we were able to enjoy the great food! There is a kids menu or the sliders worked fine!

My server was very pleasant and attentive. I ordered a diet coke and nachos with chicken. The nacho chips were very good but that's the best it got. The cheese was tasteless and lukewarm (As was the chicken) possibly caused by the cool sour cream. The diet soda was typically bad "bar pop". I'd have to say though, it was the worst bar pop I've ever had in my 56 years. This particular brand had a noticeable combined bitter/salty after taste. When my waitress asked how everything was, i lied and gave her the o.k. sign with my finger and thumb. First time there and percentages say my last.

If you're a person of color avoid this place at all costs. You will not get service and will be ignored. It's nice enough, the bartenders will pretend you don't exist and attend to anybody else. The waitresses are amazing and attentive.

We were a little frustrated trying to order food but the owner took care of us. Thank you and sorry for being frustrated. Buffalo chicken egg rolls are the bomb!

This place was busy Friday evening, but (what I assumed) the owner managed to get a table set up for my family and I outside. We were served promptly by Shelby, and she was incredibly kind. The food was amazing. This was the first time in a LONG time where everyone ate all of their food before leaving. The beef, beef combo, and steak sandwiches were delicious. I also ordered a pizza for our 2 hour drive home after the Sox game. It was excellent.Definitely can't wait to return the next time we come up for a game.

Just moved to the neighborhood and came here after passing by on a Jog. The owner Tom and server Shelby were amazing. I had the Garlic Parm wings and fries and they were both delicious. The ambiance was great as well, I sat outside and listened to music under a nice umbrella. 12 outta 10 experience. Highly recommended.

Grabbed a bite and a brew here b4 before the TB Rays & Sox game. Great place. Rays lost when Sox scored 7 in the bottom of the 9th for a walk off win. Good memory! Loved Turtles!
