I am so impressed by every aspect of this gem of a coffee shop. I am sincere when I say this, this is the first good cup of coffee I have had in Chicago in 2 years. It was not just good, it was amazing.
The server behind the counter was also just so kind. They saw that I had a hearing aid and spoke clearly and to me.

Coffee is good but expensive. No problem with that; gotta do what you gotta do. The thing that is weird is that depending on who’s working they will ignore you while you stand at the register awkwardly wondering who is supposed to be taking your order. One of the founders (not sure their name) is super friendly but some of the other workers act like they don’t want to be there
