This place keeps dropping in quality. Last time we go here for Venezuelan food. What a joke with A sample of cheese on this cachapa. Smh.

This seems to be a family owned & run establishment. The service was a bit frustrating but the food more than made up for it.The dishes were unique but amazingly delightful. I would make a trip back just for the food.
Service was a little slow. Food was okay maybe I ordered the wrong thing...I had the empnadas an arepa flight. The empnada was good but the flight wasn't to my liking. I'm willing to go back an give them another try.

Best Venezuelan food i tried in Chicago(after my wifes, she is Venezuelan too)!!!We had some empanadas and llanera(skirt steak, cheese and guacamole) and they are super delicious, what i like the most is that food is not grease.Latte that we tried compliments the foodPeople who work here are fiendly and knowledgeable about the menu.I would recommend you to come to this place if you are not in a hurry, just to sit, relax, drink your coffee and enjoy some good food.Rating wise yes this place is a legit 5☆?

I just found this place out, I love it… I’m in love with the coffee… the coffee is better then most places and it’s so darn delicious, the food is great, the services is amazing… the owner is very nice and they are bilingual…
The burger has nothing to do with the photo they have published on the menu.A few months ago I also went and ordered a Venezuela sampler which includes TEQUEÑOS but that time they didn't include them, and the waitress (who is always in a bad mood) wanted to charge me the full price of the dish as if it were complete, when I spoke to her again and Tell him that at least for the missing tequeños he should include something else, what he did was include some pieces of ripe banana on the plate! This is illogical, and it is something that always happens and I try to give them the opportunity again, but this will be the last time I order a meal there.

VISIT. EAT. ENJOY. this is such a hidden gem in Chicago. There wasn't a wait and the staff was very accommodating and nice. The menu has too many great options. We got the plantain pancakes and breakfast arepa. It was well price and we left very full. We would come again.

First time in Chicago, my brother and I were looking for a breakfast cafe. Coincidentally we found this nice aesthetically looking cafe down the street only a 5-minute walk. We were a little upset because we arrived when they were supposed to open but they didn't seem to be opening soon therefore we waited for 10 minutes and decided to some back at a later time. Thankfully they were opened the second time we came around! We were surprised to find out that this was a Venezuelan Cafe. The place was really clean and very nicely decorated. Service was decent, not much attention from the server and wasn't very attentive being the only ones dinning in. The food was great and very delicious and don't get me started on the coffee (Hazelnut Latte) as well! The portion are smaller than what you would think and little pricey but diffidently a place to try every once in a while. I had the Aerpa Chorizo, and the Chorizo was so good, the sauce they provide blends in very well with the flavor of the chorizo. I would totally recommend this place!
