Today was my first time coming here, because friends invited me but it will be my last, the appetizers are really small, the entrees I had a chile relleno and my partner had the carne asada and he got food poisoning, the food is not that good, also the alcoholic drinks are watered down and for $22 each no thanks, the only nice thing about this place it the atmosphere, I will not be coming back.

Absolutely outstanding experience — from the service to the food, everything was exceptional. The octopus was singing in our mouths, and you can taste the intention, the technique, and the love behind every component on the plate. The sauces, the textures, the balance... unforgettable. Service and drinks were excellent as well. Tzuco, you were a dream — can't wait to be back.

Honestly….this place exceeded my expectations. The only reasons I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is because the chairs are super uncomfortable, and the drink I had was a bit sour, but would probably be great to someone else. The food….the service….EXQUISITE. Please get the short ribs for your entree - legit dream about them. I wish I knew how to cook it exactly like this!

Excellent. Will be back. The beef short ribs are amazing... and don't skip the octopus appetitiser. Mahi mahi... awesome. Drinks are excellent. The Mayan civche could have been served with chips... but wasn't... and the fish cut up in smaller pieces. And the honey ice cream had no flavor. The service was awesome.
Good food..the French onion soup was very hearty and thick,tasted like chili,was expecting French onion with a poblano/cheese twist. The red snapper was tasty, a bit over seasoned. The guacamole, potatoes and rib were delish.

Fabulous food and cocktails - this is our favorite celebration spot in Chicago. The mussels are a must-order, but we’ve also really enjoyed the chef’s “back to my roots” specials, like last night’s tacos ahogados. On this last visit we paced ourselves successfully enough to leave room for two desserts (shared 3 ways), the Maíz and the new-to-us Guanábana/Aguacate. Get either! Get both! But definitely save room for dessert.
