This was a great dinner, it was a well composed menu and everything was delicious. Highlight of the evening were the mejillones, Tetela, and the pulpo enamorada. The roasted carrots also brought a nice accompaniment to everything and a depth of flavor.

I went to Tzuco last week and it was truly an incredible experience! Everything I ate was outstanding (don't forget to order the costilla de res), we got a personalized service by Janitzio who walked us through everything we wanted to know about the menu, and the decor of the restaurant was spot on. I'm sure I will go back every time I'm in Chicago. Extra tip: try any of their desserts! All of them were marvelous.

Had an amazing time at Tzuco! The service was outstanding, always attentive to every detail, and the food was beyond incredible. The beef ribs were a standout—so tender and juicy! And don't even get me started on the delicious drinks. Definitely a must-visit spot—I'll be back for sure!

The food was amazing and the ambiance was perfect. Everything we ordered was delicious and our server Christian was very attentive. They were great about accommodating those in our group with allergies without even having to ask. We will definitely be back when we visit Chicago next!

If you are American you might get impressed by the taste of the food, good mixture of different ingredients, but if you have been in Mexico you know they are local restaurants far better that this one. Nothing impressive, short menu, average service, crowded. Hope the chef is not expecting to compare this new restaurant with his old mexique, this one will not get a Michelin Star, not likely.

Exceptional all around!! The best Cochinita Pibil you have ever had. Elevated and creative takes on classic Mexican dishes, impeccably executed. Cocktails are equally unique and impressive including a coconut infused mezcal that is the base for a Mexican Negroni. The chef’s counter overlooks the kitchen and is great for solo dining or couples. Service is attentive and gracious (Yesenia was my server) and Chef Gaytán might just deliver your dish himself!

Outstanding experience at Tzuco. The food was flavorful and unique. The service was attentive but not invasive. The decor is really cool and the place is not too noisy. We had 3 appetizers (Pippo enamorado, Tetela and Pescadilla): all were outstanding and above expectations. Then we continued with 3 mains: Cochinita Rebil, Chile Relleno and Tzuco Burger. All very flavorful and special. Even the burger was something to remember. Closed the dinner with a pretty unique dessert: Maiz, a charred corn icecream. Definitely worth trying! Finally, we only had one Margarita but it was really really good

Tzuco is one of my favorite restaurants! I am a regular customer who likes to celebrate milestones at this amazing place! Food is just full of flavor and portions are meant for sharing! Chef Gaytan hits it out of the ball park!! It can get a bit noisy in the patio so opt indoors for intimate seating. Beautiful interior design. What a treat for Chicagoans!

We arrived within the 15 minute grace period - to the minute. The hostess had already marked us as a no show and we were forced to sit on the patio. She was inflexible and unaccommodating. It was an unfortunate start to an otherwise wonderful experience. Her demeanor and lack of empathy certainly colored our meal.
