Even busy this place was worth the wait. Chicago dog was excellent and the fries were a wonderful compliment to the dogs. Hard to see from the outside but worth finding when you are downtown.

The atmosphere here is fantastic! Cheap hot dogs, great menu selection, wonderfully energetic staff. I tried the Joey dog, and while I didn't care much for the garlic-wasabi aoili, I would definitely go back and try some other options. The fountain drink machine had some great cream soda as well.

This place is an institution! It's a wonderful lunch spot for a burger or hot dog, and french fries. Nothing fancy here, but it hits the spot every time! Small menu, but they do it all well!

The employees are so friendly, always smiling and attentive. Today is rare to find this type of customer service. The food is SO FREAKING DELICIOUS. Loved the salty fries. Will become a regular now.

I went here to get a taste of the world famous Chicago hot dog. This place did not disappoint! I recommend it for anyone visiting Chicago for the first time! Also recommended to eat next to the river to really get that Chicago feel.

You have to appreciate a place with the friendliest owner who's always smiling and happy to serve you the best hot dogs anywhere in the Loop or nearby. Great burgers too. But that doesn't mean herbivores are left out. Be sure to try the excellent meat-free Beyond brats and Impossible burgers.
Oh How I miss Joey, who was the owner of this place!!! Great guy! He and his staff put out some amazing food, simply amazing! They closed down in 2018. I did not mind waiting in line for my char grilled butterflied polishes. Please put the band back together, Joey....Downtown Chicago needs you!
