This was such a wonderful place. Its quaint and the service is good but fast. More than everything else the food is so very good. This was my very first trip to Chicago and I fully intend to go back as the experience was delightful and this place in particular is embedded in my mind due to the service, especially! Very gracious staff
Even busy this place was worth the wait. Chicago dog was excellent and the fries were a wonderful compliment to the dogs. Hard to see from the outside but worth finding when you are downtown.
The atmosphere here is fantastic! Cheap hot dogs, great menu selection, wonderfully energetic staff. I tried the Joey dog, and while I didn't care much for the garlic-wasabi aoili, I would definitely go back and try some other options. The fountain drink machine had some great cream soda as well.
