Ukai sushi is really tasty! I will say the lunch special is totally worth it as you get a good spread of food to taste. Every thing was very fresh and tasty. I will say the service was kind of slow but, the taste of the food made up for that.

SO yummy!! this place was empty and idk why cause the food is FIRE and there are soooo many good options (ramen, sushi, rice bowls). we were seated immediately and the staff was super friendly and waited for our whole party to come before taking our orders. the restaurant is well lit and the vibes are high, GOOD AF MUSIC

Probably one of my favorite spicy tuna rolls! Everything is always fresh here! Tried the Mexican roll and it was very good, just wish it was a fresh jalapeño instead of a pickled jalapeño. Still very good, just threw me off!

Solid place with a good selection of sushi and other Japanese dishes. One of the few places I've gone where the takoyaki isn't lava on the inside.Prices and portions were pretty good and the fish was very fresh.

Not bad, but definitely not so good.The sashimi is good quality and delicious, however that’s the end of the good part.We also ordered curry udon, basically all appetizers, and a couple sushi rolls. The appetizers are okay except the Dashi tofu is meh. Sushi roll is good. Udon is quite insulting, it tastes blend, doesn’t have the key ingredients to make it an authentic curry udon, huge disappointment.Given the quality of the food, I think the the price is definitely on the pricier end than it should have been.One other thing that bothers me a lot is the decoration inside are non-Japanese related theme when it is a Japanese restaurant.Overall, not a bad place to visit. Granted, this is probably the best somewhat affordable Japanese restaurant within blocks, but surely won’t be the first couple places to revisit for me.Kid-friendliness: This place provides high chair

Tried the Salmon Tartar, Crab Rangoon, and Takoyaki appetizers as well as the Mexican and Spicy Tuna Tataki rolls and they were all delicious. Super fresh ingredients, very smooth flavors. Will definitely be coming back!!

This was my second time at Ukai and the sushi was just as good if not better! With so many rolls to choose from, there’s plenty of options for everyone here. For appetizers, we got the Crab Rangoon and Takoyaki. We love the crab rangoons here, and the Takoyaki was good too just not our personal favorite. For sushi rolls we got the Spider, Green Dragon, and Spicy Scallop. All three rolls were fresh, flavorful, and unique. Even the Spicy Scallop Roll, the most “basic” of the rolls, was delicious and the scallop was so soft. My favorite of the three was the Green Dragon. Besides the food, the inside of the restaurant is beautifully designed and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and quick. I would highly recommend Ukai for fresh and delicious sushi!
