I did not love Ummo. My first choice wine selection and main course selection were out of stock. Reason code: It was a really busy Saturday. Overall, we had a really good experience as a family of four celebrating my daughter's birthday. The service was excellent and attentive without being overbearing. Overall, we felt that the food great but was rich with few dishes that veered from this. Most of the side dishes /vegetables also contain some sort of a rich element and I do wish there was a bit more in the way of simple fresh sides which would compliment. The food was amazing. The ambiance and decor really set the tone for a nice meal and good conversation. Loved the fact we could see into the kitchen and watch the food be prepared. For it being downtown the value and quality of the meal are perfect. You are getting your moneys worth.
