My friend brought me here as she's been wanting to try brunch after having a wonderful dinner experience. This brunch was INCREDIBLE! We sat at the bar since we didn't book table resys in advance (our bad) but we felt well taken care of by the staff. They checked on us regularly and made sure we were good, as if we were at a table with wait service.
We did the bottomless mimosas and they made sure to keep our glasses full, never had to ask for a refill. Our meals were delicious, we both had the carne asada bowl and I added a side of plantains. Skirt steak was cooked to perfection.
The best part of our trip was the family atmosphere, you can tell they take pride in what they are providing for customers. I would definitely come back again and will be bringing my family for the experience.

Was very excited to try this place out . Got there at 3pm only to be told that they close at 4 and the kitchen was closed . Won’t be coming back
I’ve been here multiple times, but it was my first time coming for dinner ,and it did not disappoint . Breakfast here is also amazing. Don’t forget to try their fresh hibiscus margaritas. They are to die for . And the owner Dennis is amazing. Great hospitality 10/10 would recommend to everyone!

This place never disappoints. I’ve visited three times now and each experience has been just as good as the last. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Their drinks are just as impressive, whether it’s a perfectly made coffee or one of their cocktails. The environment is inviting and comfortable, perfect for a casual meal or a special outing. What really sets this place apart are the owners. They are genuinely the sweetest people and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. It’s rare to find a restaurant that nails both the food and the hospitality like this one does. I will definitely be going back.

The mazapán latte just tasted like burnt coffee, the Quesabirrias did not taste like birria and there was a hair in the food. & it overly expensive. Do not recommend eating here.

My family and I finally made our way to Un Amor and everything we ordered was genuinely delicious. The empanadas were amazing, perfectly crispy and flavorful. The quesabirrias were rich, cheesy, and super satisfying. Even the patty melt was amazing!!
They also have a kids menu that included all the kids favorites (quesadillas, mini burgers, chicken tenders, French toast), such a plus when brining the kiddos!
The drinks were just as impressive. The espresso martinis were smooth without being too sweet, and the margaritas tasted fresh and bright.
Corryn was our server and she was amazing, warm, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering.
Un Amor has great food, great drinks, and great service. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
This is a family owned restaurant, so kind and welcoming. The food is amazing and affordable.

My husband and I love this place. Reasonably priced and tasty food and drinks. We have come multiple times with our baby, and they have been extremely accommodating and friendly. I love that it’s family owned— everyone seems very passionate and works well together. Can’t wait to come back!

We celebrated galentines at un amor. It was such a beautiful experience we laughed, ate really good food they played amazing music. Our server Emily was very friendly always checking on us. The owner Alberto introduced himself told us his family also helps in the business for bless & his son Dennis was also very helpful throughout our dinning experience. 10/10 highly recommended un amor!
Rating is based on food and service. When I arrived nobody was at the door but when the host arrived she was nice so I didn’t mind. However, I waited over 5min to get water after I was seated. My server (a tall guy with curly short hair, Daniel m on receipt) finally came to my table but he only poured water. He didn’t introduce himself or ask if I was ready, checked in on the table next to me, and left. I knew what I wanted before I came bc i was hungry and it was 2pm so I looked at the menu beforehand. It took me looking around for him to notice I needed something so he could come back to take my order, then again when I needed things such as syrup and the check. When he would finally notice me looking around, he would look somewhat annoyed and start walking away, but then realized he had to come to do his job. Everyone [customers] seemed to know an employee and I understand showing love to regulars but both tables next to me had amazing service, meanwhile my server never spoke to me or checked in on me.
I had the French toast flight and Un Amor espresso martini. My drink was strong yet still tasted like coffee so I liked it a lot. The flight was amazing, my fave was the cinnamon & banana tho.
Even though the food was amazing, I wouldn’t come back here because of the service.

I had been wanting to try this place for the longest time, and finally stopped by during restaurant week. This place did not disappoint!! I don’t think I’ve been that well fed in a looong time. Plus everyone we interacted with was the sweetest, and the music was such a vibe. Can’t wait to try their brunch next!

Being a Latina in Chicago I’ve finally found a kitchen that tastes like home! The flavors, the service, the vibes…I close my eyes and I’m suddenly on a beach sippin mojitos! Everything about this is 5 stars!
