Jerk catfish was good but they gave me a tail. I didn’t pay my money to eat a tail. Plantains not the best, rice not good at all. Jerk chicken was good but skin wasn’t crisp enough, flabby skin. Cabbage was good 4/5. Mac was ok 2.5/5, but the sweet potatoes were good 4/5. Glad I got them. Service was good though. Lady was polite and cool.
I happened on this place on a whim. Now the wait was crazy for a to-go order, but I hope that meant they were making it fresh. Realistically, it’s better to call ahead. The oxtails were tasty. The bulk of the meal was definitely rice and peas. Good portions, too. I’m not mad at it though.
Chicken was ok sides were like most jerks places garbage baked Mac and cheese was sorry and the cabbage was not cooked fully, once I Open Up Baby Ruth's BBq tho I will save Chicago's jerk chicken scene because right now it's hurting badly
