Arrived around 12p with a 15 min wait outside. Ordered the combo skirt steak and tocino and streak was pretty tender, tasty and not too salty. Tocino didn't disappoint. Some minor details they need to work on. Skirt steak (asked for med) was med rare on the thicker parts and medium on the thinner parts. Also eggs were over medium to well with broken yokes when ordered over easy. Lastly, water was never refilled and there was a longer wait than necessary to pay the bill.

The pork has so much fat rather than the meat in it. So it’s a no for me.

Got the milkfish and pork chop breakfast - everything tastes good except pork chop was dry which was disappointing.

Expect the wait on a Saturday morning to be quite long.

This place rules. I lived over here for a decade and never went for some reason. I've been a few times since with friends and it's great. I think I had the pork chops both times and the tonico is delicious. My friend loved the pancakes.

Favorite restaurant in Chicago. Extremely nice staff and great food at a great price. They give you free porridge (Lugaw) with every meal. It is such a warming bowl and I crave it every time I’m away! Their Filipino breakfast is great with classics including longanisa and tocino. I personally love combo-ing one of these with the half steak. It comes with delicious garlic rice and a couple eggs any way! Very filling, well-priced meal. Love this place!!!

Very warm and comforting.

Getting a welcome bowl of the Filipino rice porridge was super hearty and nutrient dense.

I ordered the steak and eggs and tried the longinasia sausage. It was enjoyable overall, and worth a 20 min wait.

Anytime I’m craving a traditional Filipino breakfast, I go to Uncle Mike’s. Their longanisa silog breakfast is so nostalgic for me and tastes just like my moms. They also have traditional American breakfast, but highly recommend trying a Filipino breakfast while you’re here!

Great tasting food and friendly service.

Be warned that it is very popular and you will need to reserve ahead of time.

The food is great, the portions are amazing and the service is phenomenal. I got the bangus and toccino, it was tasty and filling!!!

They were extremely unprofessional from the start. I will personally note, I love traditional Philippino food. Also, I was in the restaurant industry for five years. So, it was an unfortunate, and unexpected experience. I am an African American woman, and I felt a strong sense of urgency. We made an earlier reservation, and despite that, we felt extremely rushed. I was touched, as I was eating, by multiple employees. They were cleaning our table, as we literally had forks in our mouthes. Quality of environment, to me, equals a quality experience. Extremely disappointed. I don’t need an apology, simply do better. For your next guests.
