Everything about this restaurant was amazing, the atmosphere, the staff and the food. Our server Luis was awesome. The ham & cheese stuffed French toast was delicious as was the biscuits and gravy. They also had some great gluten-free options for my daughter. It was within walking distance to wrigley field so it worked perfectly for us to eat there prior to the game.

Cute and stylish place, Affagato (espresso with gelato) was immaculate and espresso was among the best I've had. All of the food was amazing and the Ham and Cheese Stuffed French Toast was absolutely insane, if you debate getting it, just get it. You will thank yourself later.
Our server, Luis, was amazing about my wife's gluten allergy and double checked everything. He was also cheerful and very informative.

The food was delicious! Every option looked good and it was so hard to decide which one. I personally had the marshmallow latte and the pulled pork tacos, and they were the best tacos and coffee I've ever had! The servers are nice and attentive. They made great small talk and checked in at convenient times. The google maps menu is not as updated as the actual online menu, but is still convenient if you are unable to look at the official menu.

Server Iris had a nasty attitude towards my table and looked like she didn’t want to do her job. She made us feel very uncomfortable while dining in. She also took awhile to bring us more water & the restaurant wasn’t even busy.
The server iris gave us horrible service and took forever to pick up our plates and to fill up our waters and waited for someone else to do it. She was ALSO being weird to my kid. She has a very unpleasant smell every time I come in, As a server I think you should be presentable and take care of hygiene all the time since they’re near everyone.

I got ribs with mashed potatoes. The ribs were so dry and bland. The mashed potatoes tasted like they came from a box.
And the sound, it was so loud in there.
I might try the place again, but won't be at the top of my list.

Swung by Uncommon Ground in Lakeview last weekend—love that they’re all about sustainability and local vibes. I ordered the fried Wisconsin cheese curds and the apple, walnut, and blue cheese salad. The cheese curds were crispy and hit the spot, but the salad felt a bit underwhelming for the price. Service was friendly, but things moved kinda slow, and we had to flag someone down for refills. Dropped about $35 before tip, which felt a tad steep given the portion sizes. Cool spot with a chill atmosphere, but not sure it lives up to the hype—might give it another shot, but it's not at the top of my list.
