I went to Union Dumpling and tried the lamb & cilantro dumplings, pork & shrimp dumplings, and the wood ear mushroom side, along with the digest brew drink. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The staff are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet—they create such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Was happy to have a dumpling place in the neighbourhood. It’s a self-service type of place where one orders on a screen and then pick up the food once done. The number will be called on a loud speaker. This set up isn’t very inviting and feels like a quick dine-in/pick up rather than a relaxing place to have food with friends. Generally fine, if prices matched the vibe accordingly.
Positives: The staff were friendly and checked in a few times if all was fine. Food came quick and portions are good sizes.
Negatives: We didn’t think the food was good. The spicy wontons all sticked together served in a bowl, which didn’t look too inviting, and the fillings were so so (both flavour and texture). Same for the long bao; barely any juice, stuffing was dense, dough was on a drier side.
We hope it was just the quality on that day, but since we have been to many dumpling places, we’re not sure we’d come back.

Probably shouldn’t rate after one visit, but I’m a sucker for hard working young people trying to make their way. Greeted at the door with a smile by the owner, offered a free sample while I waited my go order. Her husband busy in the old Gather kitchen while 3 ladies making dumplings behind the old Gather bar. I had beef dumplings sautéed with a side of cucumber salad, which made for a tasty Friday lunch. Not the fastest, but hey,that’s why there’s a McDs up the street.

Self-serve but with plenty of seating in the back. The vibe in this place is relaxing and peaceful, and the staff is friendly and warm. The food is fantastic - I sampled their pork and chives and immediately went in to get a full order. I think this is a great new place in the neighborhood, and if you’ve been considering it, please give it a try :)

The service was timely and reasonable, and I completely recommend this place. Heads up it is street/metered parking, but I had no issues parking.

Great addition to the neighborhood! The service was great and we felt welcome from the moment we walked in. We ordered through an iPad at the front, then went to our table and waited for the order to be ready. Very cute covered and heated back patio!
The dumplings were delicious and fresh (we had the pork and chives). We also tried the spicy wontons, and they are very recommended for those who like the spice. I'll definitely be back!
