I’ve always passed by and have heard good things about this place so I decided to take my mom there for breakfast today. Right off the bat the place has a cozy retro dinner vibe going on with red stools if you sit in the counter and a big and easy to read menu posted by the walls. Stopped by 11am and was worried there would be a wait but there were 2 tables open and for the most part the counter was available as well. After we sat at the table our server came up to us once, gave us our drinks and never came back. Granted it did pick up a little bit and I’ve worked in customer service so I know how hard it can be to keep up, so I decided to let it go. After a couple minutes had passed by, this wonderful bus boy/helper came by and asked if we had been helped yet and he ended up taking our order. Waited 5 minutes for food. Amazing. Food tasted great, generous portions for a fair price and it was great overall. Except no one came back to us to see how our food was, if we wanted more water/coffee or if we even wanted the bill (which I don’t mind going up to the cashier but still) It sucks that we leave with a foul taste of the place despite the food being pretty good. Hospitality was non existent and it makes me not want to come back or recommend it to others.

This place truly delivers the perfect mix of amazing food and genuinely warm service. I absolutely love this cozy diner—it feels welcoming the moment you walk in. Our waitress was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The patty melt was hands down the best I’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. What impressed me most was the hospitality: even though they were nearing closing time, we were never rushed or made to feel unwelcome. In fact, we didn’t realize they were closing until we were ready to leave. That level of care and professionalism really sets this diner apart and creates such a relaxed, comfortable dining experience. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Been a long time customer of this place, not sure how i haven’t written a review before. Love anything that has ribeye steak in it. Love the sandwich and steak and eggs. But especially enjoy the #5 Mess omelette. With hashbrowns extra toasted. I truly recommend them and insist anyone who goes to atleast try it once. All in all, its great food especially for the prices. As for the service, just imagine a typical diner from tv where they treat you like you’re there everyday. I dont know anyones name, but i go in there and i just say “the usual” and it just gives me that good feeling when they already know what it is. Next best thing to family.

I went this morning and bought a sandwich, ham cheese, and egg. I specifically said twice no lettuce no tomato. I leave with my sandwich and go to work. I’m starving ready to eat my food so I can start my day and what’s inside my sandwich tomatoes so I called them back and I let them know what’s going on. All they can say is I’m sorry they will not at least replace my sandwich which would be great customer service. The food is great. I am not complaining nowhere near about the food, but the fact that you can replace my sandwich when you guys made a mistake is ridiculous.

I grew up eating here for half my life. So many laughs and good times with good people. Food was always great, Chris is a good man. Wish I knew the name of the brick chili they used to have. Man that was the best.

The staff behind said counter was fast, efficient, and friendly. Prices were great food was what you wanted it to be. I got the French toast, my buddy got pancakes and eggs. Solid.
